In other news, I ordered the slip mat from the UK store because THEY will ship to Canada. I was listening to my evermore vinyl and I accidentally put it on top of my Chris Stapleton record (which I noticed really quickly due to the fact that NBNC was playing instead of Willow, no damage was done to either record) and I noticed that it sounded better having something underneath it so that's fun.

Ya know, part of my brain is impatient and screaming "I want to order the vinyl NOOOOoooooOOOOoOOOOW" but the other part (the rational part) is saying "You have the day off, what about instead of waiting for the vinyl to ship you go to the record store and pick it up and you'll have it in your hands day of? You know, shipping a la Sydney" and it honestly feels like the equivalent of having the angel and devil on my shoulder. It's a good sale on the vinyl right now but what good is a good sale if you have to pay what you would save to other people to get them to ship it for you. The struggles of being Canadian. The thing that's most frustrating is that these albums are probably made here in Canada (the opaque evermore ones were made here as well).

10 percent off RED music for 48 hours… I don't know why this is the case, and why now. It's for the charts and to have high numbers when the album is released in a month, but I don't know why it's being done now. Some people think something will come at the end of the countdown. I personally hope it isn't new merch yet. Or signed CDs. I would like it better (for my own financial situation) if anything came next week or by the end of it. Maybe we will FINALLY get the first single when this countdown ends. I have no idea why we haven't had one yet. They haven't released signed CDs for an album three or more weeks before a vinyl record for that same album was to be released. I guess they could do that, but I think they would wait until the end of October or beginning of November to do that. |

I guess now would be a good time to order the vinyl, and I have sort of been leaning towards the plain black one because while the color red makes more sense, the Target red one would be very bright and I’m just not sure that fits the vibe, the black is classic… I wish the target one would come out so I could decide. I want to ask for it for Christmas but it has that stupid explicit label on it and my mother made it very clear before that she won’t do that  You could've maybe waited and asked for the 'FEARLESS (Taylor's Version)' vinyl record for Christmas since it is a clean album. If there will be a 'Target' vinyl record, I think it will be announced or put on their website soon. I wonder if there will be a CD too. There probably will be. I wish with these re-recorded albums that they would use a different picture from the album photoshoot for the cover to make it different. The new 'Target' stickers aren't that nice looking to me. The old 'Target' red hype stickers were cool. They used those up until the 'RED' era, then they were circular for '1989'. I don't know what is going on, but people are going insane with edits of the 'RED (Taylor's Version)' vinyl record. A blue one showed up on 'Twitter' and I was not shocked at all if it was actually real. That's something 'Target' would stupidly do and not do a red vinyl record for the album. But this blue one is not on their website, so it's an edit. There hasn't been one announced yet. |

Weird, I really thought it did… In other news, my fearless vinyl from urban outfitters finally shipped today. I just read online that it's optional for parental advisory or explicit stickers to be put on albums. They don't show them online, I believe. I just looked at 'Target's website for their vinyl record pictures and I thought they didn't show it on the 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' ones. But they do on the 'Folklore' vinyl record but not the 'Evermore' vinyl record. They may not show a sticker in the picture for 'RED (Taylor's Version)' online but it's supposed to be an explicit album because there's a clean version available in CD format. |

I should try to buy the vinyl, or see if they will ship it to Canada....I hope this means we're getting a single soon! I don't really think it's worth it...Even with the sale on it. I've never pre-ordered a vinyl record from Taylor's main U.S. Online Store (other than with 'Folklore') because of the limited edition versions. I know how annoying it is that Canada gets the vinyl records late and a while after a release date, but it takes a while for a vinyl record to be shipped from the U.S. You could maybe get a copy from within Canada around the same time as you'd get a vinyl record from the U.S. I heard on social media that people in Canada FINALLY got their 'FEARLESS (Taylor's Version)' vinyl records today or recently from the 'Universal Music Canada' Online Store. |

I've heard I think that that service in particular is expensive. Like I said before, especially to use a shipping forwarder, it's not worth it to me to ship to Canada when you can get that same item in Canada afterwards. They still charge shipping within the U.S. for music items (quite expensive I've found it to be lately) and then the reshipper will charge who knows what for shipping it to you and maybe a fee or something for using their services. It would all be included in one cost (shipping and fees if applicable). |

The guy who runs the store has a Facebook page and he posts the new releases he has in stock on there so if there's something I really want you can comment and he can hold them until you're able to pick them up (which is really cool). I'd imagine RED (tv) will probably be available in stores soon after it's released (which is probably why they're holding back on restocking on the website). The next time I go to my local record store (which will probably be after red is out) I'll see if Fearless (tv) is still there and if so I can pick it up and send it to you. |

You’re lucky to have a store like that. I’ve talked to you before about my one local ”record store” (if you could even call it that ) and it absolutely sucks. I’ve never purchased anything from it and likely never will. They seem to cater to rock music. And seem to be incapable of getting any ”Record Store Day” items. Thank you for doing that and thinking of helping me, but I am not in a rush. I think ’Universal Music Canada’ had the cheapest price ( $50) originally, and then I could use a discount code on top of it. And free shipping. |

I'm worried about or wondering about what the issue is with 'Target' and why it hasn't had a sale on music and books in a long time. There's several releases I still need to get but I was sort of waiting because I was hoping they'd have a "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" sale again...
