the international stores have been restocked for vinyl! It's such a relief to have the album pre-ordered! I hope I get it the day of release! From where? The Canadian Online Store?  Don’t except much. They’re run by a group of snails. I heard someone on social media didn’t get their ’FEARLESS (Taylor’s Version)’ vinyl record from them until recently like last week or early this week. A few weeks after the release date. It’ll be an absolutely miracle if they ever shipped a vinyl record before the release date, or even on the release date. Then it takes the mail a week to get it to you (if someone lived in B.C. or something). |

I'm worried about or wondering about what the issue is with 'Target' and why it hasn't had a sale on music and books in a long time. There's several releases I still need to get but I was sort of waiting because I was hoping they'd have a "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" sale again... I feel like with all the prices going up we’ve been seeing in the states and such that it’s highly unlikely that the sale will come back and I can’t really even be mad about it because the cost of everything has gone up… it’s still a major bummer though because they do have a lot of records I want that are higher priced than most stores that I’ve been hoping they’d bring back the sale for. If they don’t have one by the end of the year around the holidays then I think that’s it. I think they did it on Black Friday last year so that’s possible. |

It’s weird, I think it’s crazy for the standard version of RED not to be red but yet… I think I prefer the black. The Target red is really bright and I don’t know, the album cover just seems kind of vintage and the black has a more classic vibe to it. Maybe if the red was darker I would like it more. I don’t know, my mom wanted to know a few things I’d like for Christmas so I just told her the RED vinyl in any color would be fine, so I guess I’ll be surprised XD |

It’s weird, I think it’s crazy for the standard version of RED not to be red but yet… I think I prefer the black. The Target red is really bright and I don’t know, the album cover just seems kind of vintage and the black has a more classic vibe to it. Maybe if the red was darker I would like it more. I don’t know, my mom wanted to know a few things I’d like for Christmas so I just told her the RED vinyl in any color would be fine, so I guess I’ll be surprised XD I’m with you there Reagan! As much as I’m happy that Target’s providing a red RED, I wish that the people in her official store were a bit more creative. The vibe of the album is definitely more of a cranberry or burgundy red). But I like the black record too. I can sacrifice having a coloured vinyl if we can get a really high quality pressing. Also I like the pictures in the middle of the discs |

I can't remember the exact address where my packages have come from but it's in Mississauga or something. You're lucky to get everything fast. Most businesses in Canada ship from Ontario ( Toronto). Or Vancouver but that is rare. |

I'd have to ship it to my U.S. address and that's on hold for a little. I won't buy the items full priced, so I will wait for a sale. I hope they'd do it again into the new year if they do have one before Christmas so I can hopefully catch up on releases from them. |

I didn't think I'd get sick of there being red vinyl records because we've waited so long for one, but now they have overdone it. They did red for albums that don't even suit red. For 'Folklore', they could've done something different that was different from the colors sold on Taylor's online store(s). Maybe a splatter or something cool. For 'Evermore' they could've done a darker red or burgundy so it wasn't exactly red. For 'FEARLESS (Taylor's Version)', I think it was a complete screw-up. Red and yellow are ugly together. They could've even done a cool clear vinyl record or maybe a clear vinyl record with yellow splatters. Or a white and yellow swirl. Then it would make sense for 'RED (Taylor's Version)' to have a red vinyl record like this. But I think it should be a bit darker to match the color on her lips on the album cover more. |

Also I like the pictures in the middle of the discs They have no creativity and it's disappointing. I've said this before but it may have been elsewhere (not on this forum). It's nice for there to be all these extra songs on the re-recorded albums (for digital listening), but it makes it more expensive when there need to be multiple vinyl record discs for one album. It is easier for them to just include all the songs on the re-recorded albums and I know Taylor wants to reclaim all her songs and re-release new songs, but it's a hard decision. In one way it's not a very good move for sales because based on the cost of a vinyl record, if someone didn't really care which one they got, they would probably pick the original 'RED' album in vinyl record format if it was beside the 'RED (Taylor's Version)' album in vinyl record format in a store, based on price. They give fans no choice but to pay a whole bunch of money to get the re-recorded album in vinyl record format. $50 USD in comparison to around $20 USD or something like that. |

Maybe they are trying a different sales way by releasing a pre-order for the CD first, then the vinyl record, then the cassette. They released all three at once for 'FEARLESS (Taylor's Version)'. I think they are really pushing for sales for 'RED (Taylor's Version)'. They seemed to get people excited and wanting to pre-order the CD, then they made people wait a little and had the vinyl record available for pre-order so people would want to buy that too. Then they could wait to release the cassette and people would want to pre-order that too. I would imagine there will be 'RED (Taylor's Version)' signed albums, and I have a good feeling there will be. I really hope there will be. Since they have been really pushing for CD and vinyl record sales lately, I think there will be signed albums to add onto the number of sales for the first week. |
