Didn’t you just get a new laptop recently? No I said before I had to cancel it. Taylor just had to release a sh*t ton of merch then didn't she? I thought other things were important at the time too. You know, there’s no rule you HAVE to buy ALL released merch

Why do wide format printers have to be so expensive?

No I said before I had to cancel it. Taylor just had to release a sh*t ton of merch then didn't she? I thought other things were important at the time too. You know, there’s no rule you HAVE to buy ALL released merch I do, actually. I wasn't sure if I was going to post about this, but a few nights ago my parents told me part of my Christmas present(s) would be money. Because my (air quotes) sister liked some bar thing that she saw in a store somewhere and told my mom about it but it wasn't for sale and my mom phoned the store and they said they'd sell it, and it apparently came out to around $3,000...So my parents told me they'd be fair and give me the same amount as money because they didn't know what I'd want. They didn't know apparently that I've been wanting a new laptop. I'm not the kind of person, especially with my parents, to come out and say what I want directly. I especially don't want to be greedy and I've worried about my parents and money a lot in recent years. But I made a post about it in my journal recently and bless my dad's distant (or first or second?) cousin who sadly passed away earlier this year from cancer, because he had my dad in his will for a percentage of his wealth. And his wealth was a few million apparently. My dad is supposed to get ~ $160,000 or something, and that is enough for him to pay off the big debt from the big building he had built for his business when he moved it to beside where we live outside of the city. And it will also pay off what is left of our house's mortgage I think. I think there was a little left over and that is what my dad was using apparently to get the bar thing and give me the same amount in money. It has made me feel more relieved because I already worry about them and in recent years I've learnt that there is a big debt from the building he had built and he's said (jokingly) before about how he'll "never retire". So now that the big debts he has will be paid off, it makes me feel a little better, but I still worry. He says he still doesn't think he'll retire, but I hope I get a good job someday and can help my parents. So I will probably be getting one of the newest 'MacBook Pro' laptops. I feel happy that I will be getting a new laptop finally and it is one of the bigger things I want off of my wish list. I just would maybe like to get a new better camera someday. I would save some money towards that. The newest laptop model apparently has a new "M1" chip in it. I think I will probably get the newest one rather than the last model before it, because why not get the newest model while it's new. The slightly older ones are put on sale a for a little cheaper than they were originally, but I think I still want to get the newest model. I just don't know how much storage I will get. For some reason stores like 'Best Buy' only carry laptops up to 500 GB in storage. They have up to 2 TB on the 'Apple' online website. But I read that for sales after Christmas people expect stores and retailers will have more sales than 'Apple' ever would. It would be nice if 'Apple' would have some sale even for a few hundred dollars off the price of a laptop. I think I will probably get the 2 TB one because more storage is always better and especially for me. But it would pretty much take all of the money I would get for Christmas, so that's why I was thinking about the 1 TB one. But it's only a few hundred dollars difference and you can't add storage to a laptop later so I think I will get the 2 TB one. And I think I will get the space grey color, not silver. I've liked the look of the darker color, and I've had a silver laptop already two times before.

The next few months stores will have attractive offers and delivery services will have calmed down.

No stores have bigger storage laptops and 'Apple' of course never offers discounts on their (new) products. There would be a 4- 5 week waiting time anyways for a laptop to ship...

WHAT IN THE TECHNOLOGY If I were you, I'll wait until they sort out the durability issues and for the price of this tech to really go down. Here are the other foldables around: Samsung Galaxy FoldHuawei Mate X

Oh, that’s okay, I’m content with my iPhone 11! It’s just crazy that there are phones that look like those. They all look like a horrible accident happened to their phone or tablet.

The iPhone voicemail transcription beta is so bad I don't think it's ever transcribed any voicemail for me correctly. I can't even comprehend the last half of this message if I relied solely on the transcription lol You guys still have voicemail?

You guys still have voicemail? yes. You don't have voicemail? The networks here in my country used to have voicemail back in the 90s and the early 2000s, but they discontinued it. People here prefer using SMS and other messaging services (Viber, WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, etc.), which are way cheaper than recording their voices. I'm also wondering - is voicemail still a thing in Europe, or have the networks there also phased it out?

Personally I have it turned off. I don’t like the terror of people wanting to call you back or even leaving empty messages on your voicemail.

To be honest, voicemail is pretty much useless here in my country. People here simply hang up when they hear an answering machine or voicemail prompt while calling someone, and phone calls are more expensive than SMS, which doesn't help in making voicemail popular here.

I’m not much of a phone person. I especially don’t like phonecalls. I also don’t carry my phone around everywhere. I don’t have my phone with me when I run or go on hikes. When I go cycling I only have an old prepaid phone in my pocket in case my bike breaks down. I don’t even bring my phone most of the time when I’m with friends. At home I mainly use it to listen to music or podcasts. Google sends me a message regularly to check if I’m lying dead on my kitchen table
