Not a review or at least not yet but I wish the iPhone XR came in more normal colors. There’s black and white but I was hoping for a silver like my current phone. They also have red, yellow, coral, and blue. I’ll either do black, white, or yellow.

I really don’t like the recent iPhones, although the singing emojis are pretty epic. The no home button I really wouldn’t like, I don’t know how long it’ll be until my iPhone 7 goes out and I’ll have to buy a new one, so I hope they have other options.

It's really easy to get used to not having a home button. I really doubt that they'll ever release a new one with a home button. If you are set on having a home button then you'll probably get an 8 when you are done with your 7 |

If you are set on having a home button then you'll probably get an 8 when you are done with your 7 I don’t like the whole face thing  But I don’t know if they’ll even have that, depends when it decides I need to buy a new one like it usually does, a few years I guess. |

I've had my apple watch for over a week now. I meant to do a review of it sooner but I didn't feel like doing it until today lol. So far it's been a pretty handy device. I thought it would only get notifications from first party apps but I get notifications from every app that I use. The map app is really smooth when zooming in and out of it. If you are using it for directions with the screen off it'll give different vibration patterns depending when you need to turn. When activating Siri you can just raise your wrist up to your mouth and start talking. I've only got this to work a handful of times though. It's easier to just activate Siri by saying "Hey Siri". The screen itself is small so the rotating crown is helpful when you don't want to touch the watch's screen. When scrolling through menus you can use the crown and give little vibrations. I think that's a really nice touch that they added. I was surprised to see that it has a camera app. When you go to the app it just shows what's on your phone's camera. I don't really know the purpose of this. Maybe if I were in a spy movie and I wanted to see what was in the next room I'd stick my phone under the door and look at the camera through the watch lol. I really hate that Spotify doesn't have an app for it. You can skip songs, go to previous songs, and adjust volume but you can't go to specific playlists or add new songs from it like you can if you have Apple Music. The walkie talkie app seems like it would be fun to try a few times but I don't know anyone else with the watch so I couldn't try it. It's supposed to be waterproof but I haven't tried that yet. I probably never will. That's risky. I've tried to set off the fall detection on it but every time I tried to do that it never activated. As far the health apps go I didn't really pay attention to them. I know you are supposed to get the circles filled but I haven't been able to do that. The heart monitor app is pretty cool to see though. I've tried to use Apple Pay more now that I have the watch but I have a fear of it not working at the cash register and I'll look stupid for trying it. I use it a lot at gas stations though and it worked flawlessly. Battery life for me only lasts about a day and a half. I've noticed that it loses a lot of it's battery while I'm sleeping and it isn't doing anything, which sucks. I also don't like the magnetic charger that it comes with because sometimes it falls off of it. It looks a lot better than the Android smartwatches. Those look really big and round. My watch is the 40 mm one which is the smaller size. I was indecisive on whether or not I wanted the 40 mm or the 44 mm. Even though mine is smaller I'm glad I got it as I think the 44 mm would have looked way too big on my arm. I liked the band that it came with. From looking at it far away the band looks kind of black but when you look at it close up it has a lot of different colors sprinkled in. I also like that it's velcro since it makes it easy to adjust it. I haven't decided on whether or not I like it on my left arm or right arm better. It feels awkward on my right arm because I'll have to use my left hand to do anything with the watch. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I give it an 8 out of 10.   |

Anyone with an iPhone have problems with messages that were sent after yours showing up before? I think this only happens when I text my mom and we both have iPhones. Sometimes I'll ask her a question and her response will show up before my question like she sent it before my message even though I know she didn't. It's not really a problem but it is kind of annoying.

Anyone with an iPhone have problems with messages that were sent after yours showing up before? I think this only happens when I text my mom and we both have iPhones. Sometimes I'll ask her a question and her response will show up before my question like she sent it before my message even though I know she didn't. It's not really a problem but it is kind of annoying. Yes that has happened to me and it is annoying |

I've been thinking about a new 'iPhone' lately but I've sort of had anxiety about it. I hadn't been thinking about having a new 'iPhone' at all as I'm happy with mine and it's good and I feel bad because I have lots of phone cases (mostly cheap ones but cool ones) that I haven't used yet even once because I don't know where they are and I need to get stuff organized. But I saw in the 'Best Buy' flyer last week I think that they have the 'iPhone XR' on a deal for a two year plan where you get it for free and get a 'Best Buy' gift card too! I've had an 'iPhone 6S' since the summer of 2016 as it was a high school graduation gift from my parents. So my contract was up this past summer so I can get into a new one I think. I thought it was a good deal in the flyer but I felt anxiety and felt bad to get another one as I have lots of cases to use on my 'iPhone 6S' and it won't fit the new ones (because of the location of the camera lens on the back and the new one having a whole glass screen with no button) which is really stupid and sucks but 'Apple' wants you to buy a new case for their new phones to make more money. So I tried to put it out of my mind as I don't need a new one but it's a good deal. Last week or two weeks ago the deal was the new phone for free on a two year contract and a $100 'Best Buy' gift card but this week I was just looking in the flyer for next week tonight and its the same deal but a $200 'Best Buy' gift card instead! It's good I didn't actually act on it a few weeks ago as now you can get $100 more in a gift card. I just thought about it and maybe I could use my 'iPhone' now for music mostly or only as its annoying how the new 'iPhone's don't have headphone jacks which is something that I like and I don't like how they make the new phones not have headphone jacks as you have to buy new headphones for it to work. I looked into that when I saw this deal a few weeks ago that you can actually get a headphone jack plug in thing that plugs into the charging output and 'Apple' actually puts them with all new 'iPhone's because of the outrage it caused. And there's something you can buy to plug into the new phones with two outlet things so that you can charge your phone and listen to music at the same time as the headphone jack thing goes into the charging hole so if you were listening to music with it you couldn't charge the phone at the same time too. I could maybe get that headphone jack thing sometime but I think I might use my old 'iPhone' to only play music on it or something. Then I could still use my old phone and all of the nice cases I have for it. I've learned now that you really don't need lots of phone cases lol. I've used one for two years on my phone that is still on it currently and its dirty and stuff but I've learned that you don't need like 50 phone cases. If I were to get this new phone I would just get one for now that I really like and not get many other ones for it later on. Thankfully the new 'iPhone's come as 64 GB as the smallest storage size which is what I have right now on my old phone, which is great and I didn't know that. When I got my 'iPhone 6S' the deal for getting it free was that it was 32 GB in size but I wanted a 64 GB size one so we had to pay a little more to get it. I was hesitant to get a new phone as deals would probably be for the smallest size in storage, but the smallest size is 64 GB for the new phones which is good. I am just unsure of what color I should get for the phone. There are several colors to choose from: black, white, red, blue, coral. I'm stuck between red and black. I've loved the look of the red phones ever since they made some phones available in red but black is the more sensible choice. I don't know what color I should get...   |
