I had the rudest customer this morning. She told me she actively avoids going into my line because I’m “too slow”. Ugh what a jerk. If you’re in such a rush then why are you grocery shopping?

Long day. I guess I started work at 6 AM and finished around 1:30 AM. Maybe now that that job is done I can be left alone for a couple years.

This was the worst work week. I work at Kroger. The Click List. I shop for customers who order online. We normally get 20-30 orders a day on weekdays. Kroger had this insane idea to give $30 off any orders over $50. So we went to 70-80 orders with 3 people trying to get in done. So lots of pissed off customers & us employees.

My parents are trying to hire but no one will work for around $10 an hour (which is $3.75 more than minimum wage which is what I’m making and probably more than they’re making) which is more than they can really afford to pay but we have too much going on and we need help, and the lady across the street is having the same problem with her sewing business, a bunch of people quit to cut grass. So yesterday or maybe it was the day before, she came over and she tried to hire me  I would have really liked that a year ago, but now I already have one job too many. She would probably pay a little more than my parents pay me but I don’t think I can handle leaving my comfort zone, and I hate sewing XD I guess she’s still expecting me to come over at lunch one day to chat about it, but I just can’t. |

We have a notebook job due on Monday, 3,000... have to turn the covers, punch the holes in them in the paper, all kinds of stuff... so tired XD good news is there’s roughly 1,200 to go, it could be worse. But my weekend looks like twenty more hours of putting the hole in notebook paper XD but if I can meet the deadline, I might can get off for the rest of the week... if not, I’ll finish Tuesday and get Wedesnday, Thursday and Friday off  |

I was supposed to have tomorrow off, but now I don't because someone asked me to take her shift. I could have said no, but I know that if I did, She'd just call in sick and they'd ask me to come in anyways. My next day off is on Saturday which isn't too far away but it sucks that I have to work for 11 days straight without a day off because people don't just book the days they need off in advance.

Our new boss finally showed his true face. He basically wants us to do double for half the price. He even threatened to outsource our department if we don't comply. That's a very ungrateful attitude. Over the last year we had to manage everything ourselves because our department head left. We succeeded, customers are still more than satisfied. Not to mention the numbers are fine. Apparently he wants to score with the new director on our account. Maybe we should "outsource" him, preferably into the canal with a heavy object tied to him...
