I'm a barista at Starbucks ''ve worked there for nearly five years... I left for about three months and tried to be a nanny, but it didn't work out. I lost my supervisor position doing that too -__- now I'm back as a regular barista and I currently work part-time as a stable hand.
I basically work five days a week at Starbucks and seven days at the barn. Both jobs are starting to get to me lol

I'm a third grade teacher. this is my second year and I like it so much better this year than I did last year. It's a lot less stressful and part of that is my class this year. I don't work 9-5 at all. I usually work 7-4:30ish although today it was 7-7 but that was way more than usual. It's a ton of work but I love my job. I love sharing my enthusiasm with my students and doing fun projects with them.

I just got off work at the barn... I'm all gross and dirty, but of course my mother chooses two seconds before I arrive home to get in the shower herself. >_> I'm already getting so burnt out. My days are completely blurring together!

Planning takes a lot of time (I have to plan for up to 6 lessons a day), especially after school and on the weekends and the kids can be exhausting but I love seeing students' light bulb moments and seeing them get excited about what we're learning. I can't wait for the next couple of weeks to introduce them to a new project we'll be doing |

I wish someone had put in my job description that I'd be the office receptionist because my desk is closest to the door so I have to answer all the random inquiries from students and open the door whenever people come to visit and know the schedules of all my coworkers for when other people come looking for them

I got real snotty with a customer today. This guy was coming through buying some paper plates so I ask him if he needed a bag and he was like "No I'Ll pUt It In mY pOcKet" like a real smart alec. I must of had a real look of annoyance on my face because I get real exhausted, real quick when people give me grief for just doing my job. Anyways so I reached for a bag and put his plates in it and he was like "oh I don't need a bag" and I that moment I charged him for the bag and sent it down the belt. Since he would have had sOOOooo much trouble carrying it since it wouldn't fit in his pocket. I was all like "HAVE A NICE DAY" after he left too.

Tonight I found out one of my really close coworkers has been telling everyone how much he hates me and it’s upset me somewhat considering he was one of my best friends a few months ago

Like yesterday when my mom and I were driving to 'McDonald's' we were waiting to turn left into the parking lot and there were cars coming from the opposite way so we were stopped and a guy behind a car that was turning into the 'McDonald's' was annoyed or something because the person in front was going slow and he sort of slammed his hands on his steering wheel like a nutcase and I think he saw me and my mom were looking or something and he gave my mom (or both of us) the finger as he drove by. F**king idiot.  |

I wish I could tell people that I'm a complete heathen to get them to stop but I just smiled and nodded like the good customer service person I am. I can't stand people who shove their religions down peoples' throats. People have just as much right to not be religious as people who are religious. |
