so a couple little birds here already know this but I am very interested in typology.
In case you do not know, typology is moreless a form of personality psychology. These are theories attempting to explain human behavior and personality types.
Remember for all of this, they are not set in stone and no average description trying to encompass all the types will fit you perfectly.
The main types of typology:
MBTI. A 16-personality system which sorts you by cognitive functions.
Enneagram. A 9-type system that is more based upon fears and how it impacts your behavior. Tritype also comes from here.
Socionics. A complex system which builds upon MBTI's cognitive function system, but describes the functions a bit differently and suggests we can use any of them at a given time.
Big Five is one of the original personality systems.
there is also things for the 6 basic needs, attachment styles, temperaments, and zodiac. There is already a thread for zodiac so I won't put that thunder here as it is its own intricate system but a lot of people who enjoy typology tend to also study star signs as well.
ADVICE -
Online quizzes can be helpful to pinpoint things but are not the all ends and do not beat studying the system. 16personalities goes off of dichtomies rather than cognitive functions and is inaccurate.

this is the best function test though it is not perfect either. If you answer honestly to the best of your ability it will suggest your type to you.
Introversion in MBTI is not social introversion. You can be a socially introverted cognitive extravert. (Especially for Ne-dominant types)
Find your tritype in enneagram before you search your instinctual variants, otherwise SV's are confusing.
Socionics is not something I specialize in so asking me questions about this may be hard for me to answer but there's a wiki!
Feel free to ask me anything if you're confused.
