Melanie Martinez and Timothy Heller

I heard about this. I was shocked. I always thought some of the songs were about sexual assault, but I just thought it was her making a metaphor. Don't get me wrong, I love her music, but I just don't know if I'll ever be able to look at her the same.

I feel like the song "Play Date" is a song she wrote about this.

Some stuff has pointed out on the dates that the things were said to happen, Melanie was in L.A...

Honestly, to me, innocent until proven guilty. Melanie did not deny she and Timothy had relations, but suggested consent.
I also find it odd Timothy recently dropped a song and when this all happened changed her bio to where to download the song. I am not sure this isn't just an ex-lover upset things went sour. Honestly, I don't like thinking about false accusations but two and two aren't connecting here. People also point out the consistent times Timothy dressed up as Melanie and all. There is stuff not lining up here and frankly I have a really hard believing Melanie did it. But if she is proven guilty she is guilty. But so far the signs are showing that Timothy may have been dishonest. I've kept very quiet just checking to see of information from either party, to try and see if one or the other showed anymore to the case.

There are so many holes in Timothy's story that just don't add up with anything...

It would be horrible, but liars are a tiny minority when it comes to those that accuse people of harassing them.

So I've been reading through things, and again there is a lot of things suggesting Melanie may very well be innocent.

1. The day of this 2 night sleepover, June 25th, Heller was in LA while Melanie was doing a show in New York. It could not have been a 2 night event by that date. But dates can be forgotten, so I see this less.
2. Apparently Heller is an OPENLY OUT sufferer of Borderline Personality Disorder. Someone else suffering the disorder made a long post discussing the symptoms she can see through Heller as well, and how this could be her reacting negatively to Melanie dropping her as a friend.
this post. May be very relevant. Which in this case I do not think we should hate Heller either. She has a real mental illness and needs respected too.
3. There is reports she changed her bio to a link to her new song as soon as the accusations popped out. Publicity?
4. There has been a lot of discussion about her going through and changing the captions and such on old instagram photos partially because they think, due to the dates she said Melanie dropped her as a friend. Captions sayin Melanie did her makeup and such are now being removed. Why now? She said their friendship ended in 2015 but on another thing posted as of 2017 they are still friends.
5. apparently laughing during a live video discussing it.
6. There is a now deleted photo from her page where she basically was dressed up with a friend as a kidnapper and the friend all tied up and such as the "kidnapped". It was done after the incident. Some question why a victim would joke about that kind of thing.
7. This is a less accountable thing, but someone named Sarah Morgan told a few people this was her plot to mess up Melanie's career.

you are welcome to believe Heller, but there's a lot of things that aren't coming out right.

My issue is that if Timothy was lying, Melanie could just say 'These allegations are false and will be cleared in court'. The fact she felt the need to defend herself and never denied that what supposedly happened happened suggests to me that it did. Melanie has taken next to no action following this to try and clear her name, and that screams suspicious to me.
