I figure it may have been a fan thing as between her brit award outfit looking a bit 1989 era stylistically plus Wildest Dreams in the Spirit trailer it appears 1989 is the next round.

Guys...we're dumb. Spirit Untamed is going to be released on June 4th which is a Friday. They have to release the entire song for the movie (especially if they are releasing a soundtrack which they most likely are). We'll probably get the full song that day and an announcement (if not before that so they can go crazy with their marketing for the film). My guesstimate is that we'll either get the announcement on the 27th of May or on the 3rd of June and the song the day after either of those.

I assumed as soon as that song was in a trailer we were getting 1989 next as she did that to start us knowing Love Story was re-recorded.

Even if 1989 (Taylor's Version) doesn't get released in June, could we possibly get Welcome To New York at some point in June? It'll be Pride Month... I know it's literally only that one line in Welcome To New York that references the LGBTQ+ community so if it does get released, it might be seen as using them to earn some money. But maybe the money earned from it could go to LGBTQ+ organizations.

What? Did she post? I haven’t seen anything I saw a post on YouTube from the record label (I think). Mmm, I might have been a bit premature. I can’t find the post anymore. Might’ve been some fan channel. Can’t wait to update my ringtone, though. I’ve been using Shake It Off as my ringtone even before I transitioned to smartphones, and it never fails to make me answer my calls quickly.

I always found it confusing when everyone was all "You Need to Calm Down is the first LGBT+ Friendly Taylor song!" and I'm over here like... "you can want who you want boys and boys and girls and girls" @.@

Although based on part of the video one could argue the T stands for trailer trash

Although based on part of the video one could argue the T stands for trailer trash yes but I remember Taylor discussing how part of the reason she wrote YNTCD is because her then friend Todrick asked how she would feel if her son ended up gay, and she said moreless it bothered her that she had not been clear about her support for LGBT+ people to the point someone would question that. and I wondered why that was since she had THAT LINE in a song. lol

The re-recorded blank space is going to kill us ALL. Imagine how much more sarcasm the song will be dripped with post reputation!

NO, I'M SO CONFUSED! (sorry still had caps lock on from the countdown thread). How did we get the lead single off of 1989 (tv) before the one for RED (tv) is the single cover the album cover for 1989 (tv)? Are we getting 1989 (tv) soon or is she just releasing Wildest Dreams (tv) so Tik Tok will stop giving money to the scoot squad. She sounds fantastic! I love this version. The only thing I'm confused about is the we-ooo sounds she added to the background at the end of the song.

When Taylor releases 1989 (tv) she should drop 7 seconds of (re-recorded) static noise but only drop it here in Canada and watch it go to number 1 again.

I really hope Taylor will take her time for 1989 and make it something special like the new Red era.

I know everyone thinks Speak Now is next but I still think 1989 is next. Why else would she have dropped all those 1989 hints last year if she wasn't working on it or planning on dropping it soon.
