Over here everyone above 70 got the chance to get their shot. 25% didn’t take the opportunity That’s a lot. At the moment there are less scheduled vaccinations compared to the doses we are getting delivered each week. In my opinion they should speed it up by moving on to other age groups. Alarming sign was that last week we had an outbreak in an elderly home. The people were vaccinated, but still got infected. Good news was that symptoms were not heavy (yet). But it’s disturbing that immunity was not good enough to keep people entirely safe. It would be pretty bad if vaccinations only solve half the problem. Restrictions would be necessary for years.

My grandpa got his first shot today with Biontech. His arm is hurting a little bit, otherwise everything seems to be okay until now.

Yeah, I think tomorrow will be the day that will show us if everything will be good, not so good or even worse, and then again ater the second dose.

Yeah, I think tomorrow will be the day that will show us if everything will be good, not so good or even worse, and then again ater the second dose. Aye it’s always the day after! The first dose the day after my arm hurt but that was it The second dose felt like a sick very bad hangover. Light sensitivity, tension and top of head headache Body aches Chills and fever I slept most of the day away. Come to think of it I had a bad case of “bronchitis” before all the rona stuff began. Truth be told I think I got a mild strain of the rona at that point, why else would my body react this way? It literally felt like it all over again sans the only little bit of breathing. Plus I have my own skin issues so that was fun having a rash near the injection site… I’m good now but just offering what happened to me!

FINALLY, FINALLY my province has lowered the age to get a vaccine to 18. It sure took long enough. I fail to understand why they didn't lower it to 18 a few days ago. They've lowered it by 5-10 years every few days. It was at 35 a few days ago. So I FINALLY have an appointment but it's not until May 25th (for 'Pfizer')..I could've refreshed the page but that was what it first gave me and it said I think that that was the earliest one available, so I took it. I was in a grocery store here earlier today though and they had a sign at the front door saying they had some walk-ins available, so I could've gotten it then and there actually, but I could not wait 20 minutes then (having to sit so they can monitor you for 15 minutes). Maybe hopefully someday soon I'm in a store (like on the weekend) and there is a walk-in somewhere and I can get it finally done (the first shot).

My country received its first deliveries of the Pfizer vaccine, and it quickly ran out. A lot of people lined up starting midnight just for that one, while the queue for Sinovac shots was almost empty.

My oldest sister and I got our first shot yesterday! Last night, her arm was really sore. She said the pain was radiating down towards her elbow! Mine got a little sore by the time I went to bed. It still is today but maybe it’ll go away by tomorrow. We both felt our arms get a little tingly right after it was done! Made me wonder what was going on in my body. It sounds like both her and my mom are going to ditch their masks once they’re fully vaccinated. I’m ready to ditch mine, too, but I think I’m going to keep wearing mine for the most part. Before I say anything else, I should say that I honestly haven’t been keeping up with everything like everyone else... But hearing that these big stores like Walmart and Target are dropping their mask requirements for vaccinated people is stupid, to me. Wonder how many non-vaccinated people have taken advantage of that... Can’t people still carry the virus even if they’re vaccinated? And none of them offer full immunity, correct? It just seems like everyone should continue to wear their masks until there are no more cases.

It just seems like everyone should continue to wear their masks until there are no more cases. That's possible. A week ago we had around 13.000 COVID cases registered (not at the same time) that were people who were already vaccinated twice. Also, like every vaccination, in very few cases the vaccination isn't vaccinating you. That's the reason why I don't understaand that vaccinated people are getting the same rightts as people who were tested negative, just because they're vaccinated. Also here they should get more rights, like meeting more people. And they discuss of dropping the rule to wear a mask for them.

I can’t believe all of the regular people who attended the ’Billboard Awards’ last night on TV. They were wearing masks but they were standing close to each other and the celebrities were not wearing masks. I did not personally see or hear any mention during the whole show that they’re being safe and following the rules in that people are all vaccinated or tested. I haven’t heard about any of the celebrities saying they are vaccinated (which is why they weren’t wearing masks).
And at the ’Brit Awards’ a week or two ago that I watched on the computer live-streamed, none of the celebrities really wore masks. They were spread out at tables in an arena, but Taylor was taking pictures standing extremely close to other people after the show (that she posted on social media) and none of them were wearing masks. I’m just surprised Taylor hasn’t said or mentioned that she has the vaccine (half or fully). I never personally heard what they did about that awards show and if the celebrities all quarantined or were tested or something.

I would be shocked if most (if not all) celebrities have already gotten both doses of the vaccine already. Being rich opens the door to getting the best healthcare and the nature of their jobs would require them to do the one thing that will allow them to travel and allow everyone else to see them. For Taylor, with her mom being sick, I couldn't see her doing anything unless she had both of her shots.

For Taylor, with her mom being sick, I couldn't see her doing anything unless she had both of her shots. I wish celebrities would be more transparent with it. Even with Taylor. She may not want to get political but she rounded that corner and began to show what she believed politically a few years ago. I think her letting the world know she has both vaccine doses would help to make people who are unsure about getting it to decide to get it (especially people who are her fans or think she is smart and influential).

I was shocked when I saw the three shows lof the Eurovision Song Contest last week. They allowed 3500 dutch people in the audience, they were tested, but we all know that they aren't 100% safe and also most infections are just possible to see after around 24 hours in those tests, but they had a big arena and they were all placed together without one free set between them, and they were allowed to be there without wearing a mask, they just had to wear one when they walked around, which is crazy, because they are nearer to another person when they sat there watching the show and they breathe whether they sit and dance or walk around.

You guys should have also seen the stands at the Monaco GP last Sunday. Pretty much everyone was wearing a mask, but there’s not much in terms of distancing.
