I found something interesting in the online store's information and policies. At this link it says the following: I guess this is because of a busier shopping time online for people before Christmas and the holidays. I wonder if this was put in place last year since there were a lot of new items then, or if it was put in place on their website recently. If that's so I wonder if they're preparing for more orders if they have some new stuff and sales? I personally hope they don't have a whole crap ton of new merch as it's more things to add to my list of things I want lol. I could buy more stuff in the summer time probably but I don't have as much money while I'm in university as you can't work a full time job and go to school at the same time. |

I love how I have the majority of threads created in this 'Merchandise' section lol. I'm obsessed with Taylor merch. It's a fun hobby.

I remembered your post a few days ago about you wanting this section to be more popular and now look at it, haha! Seeing you and everyone else collect merch makes me want to start collecting it, too. I still will never understand why I didn't think to check her online store when I was younger because I know I was fan sometime during the Fearless era just before Speak Now came out. If I had thought to check it then, who knows what all I could have now! |

Thank god (and also not thank god) for websites like 'eBay' and 'Poshmark' and stuff. You can hopefully find things you weren't able to buy on Taylor's store or elsewhere in stores. I guess that's what makes it interesting and fun - you don't know what will show up and you have to keep looking. The other side of the coin to this is that there are annoying people who want high prices for the things they're selling and they clearly overprice things on 'eBay' just to get money. But sometimes people undervalue things and you get things for a steal.
I can't wait for this summer when I have more money and can buy things I see online more.
What websites do other people use to shop on?

For CDs/Vinyls/DVDs I use discogs.com in adition to ebay, but it's a collectors site, so prices almost always are realistic or too high but almost never too cheap. |

There’s nothing good in the Black Friday ads this year. I’m hoping Taylor’s online store will have something better. Like restocking the sweatshirt and putting the tour jacket on sale.....  |

I can't wait until I get my four packages of merch stuff from my family's American address. I don't know when. I haven't told my dad yet that I have stuff there but maybe next week I'll tell him. I don't know when he will be going there again. I used to send my orders of small things to my Canadian address but it would cost like $30 at least for shipping in my currency and you get free shipping within the U.S. if your order is $50+ so its worth it to do that. It's just that the stupid guy who takes everyone's orders at his address where we send stuff charges you $5 for the first box then $2 or something for each other one for keeping it. And at the border they are supposed to charge you 5% GST tax...Sometimes they don't worry about it but they probably would charge for mine. My dad usually goes himself when he has something to get from the address just past the border so he pays the GST for things I get and he usually doesn't say anything but I don't know if he will. It'll probably be like $30 for everything.
