As promised many months ago, here is my Midnights song ranking! 1. Sweet Nothing 2. Would've Could've Should've 3. Hits Different 4. Maroon 5. Lavender Haze 6. Bejeweled 7. Glitch 8. Midnight Rain 9. Mastermind 10. Karma 11. Paris 12. Labyrinth 13. Snow on the Beach 14. Question...? 15. Anti-Hero 16. High Infidelity 17. You're On Your Own, Kid 18. The Great War 19. Bigger Than the Whole Sky (I do love this song, it is just far too sad for me to listen to) 20. Dear Reader 21. Vigilante nuggets (yes, I realized the naughty word filter will change this to nuggets. I am leaving it cuz this song is nuggets.) Okay, this was actually really really hard. This is one of my favorite Taylor albums and truly the only songs I don't like are Vigilante nuggets and Dear Reader. The rest of the album slaps, and Sweet Nothing is my number 1! This is really funny to me cause Vigilante Sh*t and Dear Reader are 2 of my favourites! |

I don't think I ever rated the midnights album. I think I've been avoiding it because I love all the songs a lot but I think I can give it a try 1. You're On Your Own Kid 2. Bejeweled 3. What song is Hits Different? It was released in the states only on the Target CD. You can listen to it here though Ah, I hat it when they do something like releasing a song just in one country, because it isn't even available to stream here. Especially when it is such a great song. I guess I have to get the Target exclusive from somewhere. |

You can listen to it here though Ah, I hat it when they do something like releasing a song just in one country, because it isn't even available to stream here. Especially when it is such a great song. I guess I have to get the Target exclusive from somewhere. It's not even on streaming in the states either. It's just available on that Target CD. People have uploaded to other platforms but they are at risk of having it removed. |

As for Dear Reader, it's just too slow/boring for me. It's a beautiful song, I just can't get into it. Similar with how I feel about Sad Beautiful Tragic and The Moment I Knew. |

This is really funny to me cause Vigilante Sh*t and Dear Reader are 2 of my favourites! I'm trying my best to avoid too many spoilers, but I'm hoping the tour will make me like vigilante nuggets. That's what happened with I Did Something Bad on rep tour. I did not like that song at all when it came out, but after seeing it on tour I was obsessed. As for Dear Reader, it's just too slow/boring for me. It's a beautiful song, I just can't get into it. Similar with how I feel about Sad Beautiful Tragic and The Moment I Knew. That’s fair! Vigilante Sh*t is kind of a pump up song for me. Even though typically I’m only wearing sweatpants and like my work uniform, I FEEL like I’m dressing for revenge. I’m more of a lyrics person than a production person so if a song has good lyrics I tend to like it, dear reader falls into that category for me, I think it has one of the best bridges on the album. I especially like the line “no one sees when you lose when you’re playing solitaire”. Really the whole album is excellent. There’s only one song that irks me and I still don’t DISLIKE it so… |

Yeah...I know it's silly but I think it's kind of rude to compare a fight you had with your partner to a war that killed millions. The whole main metaphor rubs me the wrong way. |

I saw the above and almost thought it was fake lol. So excited to see the music video, hear the new tracks and to FINALLY get Hits Different on streaming lol. Also I'm excited to hear more Lana on SOTB.
