I can imagine in the future my boyfriend's mom being an issue for him later in life. His parents divorced when he was a kid and she pretty much abandoned him to pursue her dream in acting. Now she's still trying to pursue her dream and only does jobs like Uber so she can control her hours because she needs to be available for auditions. However her Uber job can't afford her cost of living. She's always begging him for money and it puts him into debt. We talk about the future and how we both want our own family, but he's thinking how is he going to support a family when his mom is draining all of his money and it's only to get worse as she ages.

Y’all I went on my first date and it was sooo bad. Like we went to the mall with my friend and her bf and we were all like what is wrong with this man and we hated him so much and he wouldn’t stop talking about hooter’s and immature stuff and he was so annoying and it looks like I’m still chronically single

Over the past week we got our first snow in 2 years! This was the first time my part husky dog got to experience snow. I wanted to take her to my mom's house so she can run around on her long leash. I bought my boyfriend to play with her and he ended up meeting my mom for the first time. This is basically the first time my mom has met a boyfriend of mine. They both are talkers so it was interesting. They talked about his background, politics, and they got into a little debate about any future children's last name lol. Now he wants me to meet his friends and his dad. His description of his dad makes him seem kind of stoic. I'm not sure how I would interact with him because I never really talked to an older man all that much so I don't think we'd have anything in common.
Also, we recently went to an anime prom event. It was a lot of fun. I was Pikachu and he was Ash. He won the dance competition that they had.

After 2 years of my boyfriend begging me to meet his family, I met his dad and his dad's gf this weekend. We did a restaurant and a haunted house after I swore I'd never do a haunted house again lol.
It was funny because his dad and I were the most afraid. We were jumping and screaming at everything. His dad's girlfriend was laughing at our reactions and the whole time and my boyfriend was just calm trying to act unbothered and telling jokes to the actors. The best part was at the end. We each separately entered an extremely narrow pitch dark maze. Walking through it made me feel like how I imagine it is when you are being born exiting through a womb that's how tight and squished it was. We all eventually found each other. The funny part is I was holding onto my boyfriend's back 99% of the time we did the haunted house except at the end of that maze. We were in there with another group and I guess they caught up towards the end. This random boy came out of nowhere and started holding onto my boyfriend and my boyfriend though it was me. When we stepped out of the maze they saw each other and both screamed at the same time. The boy was like "I thought you were my mom!" and my boyfriend said "I thought you were my girlfriend!". I died laughing because it was the only time he was scared.
Anyway his dad was cool. My boyfriend made it seem like he was going to be very intense and was going to grill but he said he knew I was good so he didn't have to. He showed me all of my boyfriend's old military pictures and for some reason told me out of all his children my boyfriend is the most stingey. I don't know why he said that as he's never been stingey with me. Before we split he did say his son was a good guy and he wanted to know when I'm going to be his inlaw lol. He also invited me to his family's cabin that they rent for Thanksgiving, but I didn't want to make any promises with that. Him and my boyfriend have the same name so I was kinda confused on what I should call him so I ended up not saying his name. When he introduced himself he gave his full name.
