I was talking to her today for a few minutes and she asked me how I was feeling because last time we talked over text I told her I had not been doing great. Today I told her I’ve been feeling down and discouraged because of my mental health issues particularly anxiety along with depression. I shouldn’t have told her that because I don’t think I should be talking about my mental health issues with her. That was just stupid and I really need to learn how to not talk about that kind of stuff with her or anyone else outside of my close friends. What was her response to that? Did she try to help you/comfort through anything? |

Is it a cause of concern if someone you are interested in possibly dating said that their family is weird and they don't hang around them on holidays? I'm trying to catch red flags and act on them early this go around for dating so I don't waste time.

I'm trying to catch red flags and act on them early this go around for dating so I don't waste time. Doesn’t have to be. Depending on the family it could be good to have healthy boundaries. |

Cutting off contact with my interest in all likelihood just temporarily I do plan to hopefully start talking with her again at some point, but right now I need to focus on some of other more pressing issues right now. This includes my mental health, physical health, and getting my driver license.

Actually what I said a few days ago to expand on that I deleted her number and completely cut off contact. She’s a nice girl or whatever, but listen it’s pretty clear it ain’t mutual so it’s just a complete waste of time.

I went on a movie date Friday. We saw the Jurassic park movie. The guy was really sweet. This is my first date in forever. He bought roses which was an interesting choice in flowers lol. He's a cop. This is the second cop I've been on a date with. That type of job attracts certain types of people and then the statistics with their relationships makes me hesitant but I gave him pass. The date really made me miss my ex boyfriend though. Our first date was at the movies to see Cats and then on our next date we had went to the arcade Dave and Busters. The new guy suggested that same arcade for our next date.
