me last night: I totally know how I'm going to approach this conversation. I'm completely confident with my decision.
Him: texts me asking me how I'm doing.
Me: becomes a nervous wreck.
Sounds pretty typical. every time I see him I feel incredibly nervous and unable to calm myself down

do you ever have those moments where a situation just suddenly hits you really hard? the whole thing hit really hard Saturday night after the original conversation but holy cow it just hit really hard right now. I never wanted to leave that town. I wanted to stay there. I wanted to teach there. All my friends were there. It wouldn't be hitting me like this if I still lived there. This was the first time that I met someone really great. Someone funny and understanding. someone who was passionate about some of the things I'm passionate about. Someone who I felt really comfortable with for the first time in a while. And I'm going to miss out on everything with him because I couldn't stay in that town. Because I had to move 2 hours away for my job. and the entire situation really sucks. I'm not at all hopeful that the second conversation is going to end any better. why can't these things ever be easy for me? why are they always so freaking hard?

the one thing I will say about all this is that as much as it hurts and sucks, and it really does suck, I'm actually really impressed that I haven't gone to the place that I went last year. I'm doing better than I thought I would. not great but still better.

We're actually not much of a PDA couple at all. We show our love in private because we understand that not everyone is comfortable with lesbians, but haha, I know what you mean, when people just start making out in the middle of the hallway at school, it really pisses me off. |
