I kind of realized a few days ago that it is very possible that the break between Lover and TS8 could very well be the longest. Between possibly doing a promo tour for Cats, doing the Lover festival, doing the actual Lover tour (which I assume will start in the latter part of 2020 or 2021 AND re-recording her first 6 albums WHILE writing TS8 and coming up with a marketing campaign to release 7 albums all over again.....it may take some time. Oh wow and here I thought I made my self to busy  |

Yeah, realized that too after the announcement of the festivals in 2020. I don’t think we will get a new album before 2022. But it’s okay. It’s useless to rush an album. We want it to be good. Hm, I don’t really see It’s Nice To Have A Friend being about anyone in particular It has to be someone who was friends in school with Taylor and still is friends with Taylor. And that person got married. I don’t know, I think it could be be a simple fairy tale song, it doesn’t have to be anyone real |

I think my favorite song is I Think He Knows. I love the Carly Rae Jepsen vibe, it’s just wonderful. I think Cruel Summer is the most popular song, but I just don’t really feel it lol. It feels like Getaway Car, its a fine song that everyone loves but for some reason I just don’t. I also love Afterglow while on the first few listens it was kind of a skip for me.

Isn’t it kind of random how in the Lover CD case, when you take the CD out the background says “meet me in the afterglow” maybe looking into it too much but I think it means something.
