Okay unpopular opinion but I kinda of love False God.. It took a few listens to get there but I think it might be one of my favorites T A S T E  False God is one of the best songs, ahhhhh!! |

Judging by the titles this seems like an album with most songs about loving Joe and leaving her exes behind. Maybe “ Soon You’ll Get Better” is about her mother?! The secret sessioners mentioned there was a song Taylor left the room for, so I'm guessing it is Ahhh, I was thinking it would be that, but a lot of secret sessioners were talking about how it was track 10, which would be Death By A Thousand Cuts...? |

The secret sessioners mentioned there was a song Taylor left the room for, so I'm guessing it is Ahhh, I was thinking it would be that, but a lot of secret sessioners were talking about how it was track 10, which would be Death By A Thousand Cuts...? Everyone seemed to get track 10 and track 12 mixed up. I think whoever posted about the album first mixed them up and then those after that we’re using their review as a prompt so it got mixed up along the way. |

So! I've been listening to Lover non stop since release day (as you would), and I think I know what my favourite songs are now! Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince is number one. I'm starting to feel like it's my favourite Taylor song ever, like even more than Fearless and You Belong With Me. XD I mean... it's everything I've ever wanted in a song... I don't have time to go into it, but every single second of it is magic. XD Anyway, I think my second favourite song is False God, and I have noooo idea how anyone could hate it when it's a literal masterpiece!Um, I also loveeee Daylight and Cruel Summer, so yay! I guess those are just my favourite songs, but I love every! single! song! like... Lover is so magical and soft and romantic and sweet and wispy and ahhhhh.  Um I don't know, the terrible saxophone music in it? |

I kind of realized a few days ago that it is very possible that the break between Lover and TS8 could very well be the longest. Between possibly doing a promo tour for Cats, doing the Lover festival, doing the actual Lover tour (which I assume will start in the latter part of 2020 or 2021 AND re-recording her first 6 albums WHILE writing TS8 and coming up with a marketing campaign to release 7 albums all over again.....it may take some time.

Yeah, realized that too after the announcement of the festivals in 2020. I don’t think we will get a new album before 2022. But it’s okay. It’s useless to rush an album. We want it to be good. |

It's funny, despite Lover being easily my favourite Taylor album, I find I'm rarely listening to it. Can't help but feel like it's because I'm single lol
