Speaking of Death by a Thousand Cuts, does it like stress anyone out? Like the piano part stresses me out for so reason?? Like I feel like I’m in a rush listening to it I think it's supposed to. Like I get that stressed feeling too but I think it's symbolic of the unraveling of a relationship when you're trying your best to stop it from unraveling. That's just my take on it though. |

Guys I had a thought. What if Taylor plays this album in Carnegie Hall? WHTA IF TAYLOR PLAYS THIS ALBUM IN CARNEGIE HALL. I WOULD FALL OVER DEAD. Actually, that is a lie. If she played this album at Carnegie Hall I'd probably immediately start planning a trip to NYC cause that's just a concert I'd need to see!

It's Nice To Have A Friend is about Taylor's friend Abigail.
She mentions school stuff and Abigail's wedding. Can't believe I didn't figure it out sooner, lol.

Actually I think it’s about her friend Brittany. Taylor was the maid of honour at her wedding and her and her husband have known each other since kindergarten. |

Judging by the titles this seems like an album with most songs about loving Joe and leaving her exes behind. Maybe “ Soon You’ll Get Better” is about her mother?! The secret sessioners mentioned there was a song Taylor left the room for, so I'm guessing it is oh poor Taylor and her mom  |

Taylor will never change her name. Maybe she would add her husbands name, but I even doubt that. The name Taylor Swift will never disappear. I think it’s funny that if Carrie Underwood changed her name she would be Carrie Fisher XD I'M GOING TO SEE HER IN OCTOBER I'M SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!  I know this isn't the thread to say this but I just had to cause i'm so excited !!!!! |

It doesn't fit or have a beat that fits in with the rest of the song. I guess that's the point of it. It just feels like it's off beat. |

So! I've been listening to Lover non stop since release day (as you would), and I think I know what my favourite songs are now! Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince is number one. I'm starting to feel like it's my favourite Taylor song ever, like even more than Fearless and You Belong With Me. XD I mean... it's everything I've ever wanted in a song... I don't have time to go into it, but every single second of it is magic. XD Anyway, I think my second favourite song is False God, and I have noooo idea how anyone could hate it when it's a literal masterpiece! Um, I also loveeee Daylight and Cruel Summer, so yay! I guess those are just my favourite songs, but I love every! single! song! like... Lover is so magical and soft and romantic and sweet and wispy and ahhhhh.  |
