 soccer moms Worldwide I think Taylor is doing really well. In the UK there are probably more fans now. But I’m not so sure about the US. Going against large groups of people who were her main fan base, can’t be good. Could be true that streaming is an additional problem that got bigger very recently. Taylor also put all the songs on Youtube immediately.I found it odd she released it on 'YouTube' right away. I don't think she did that with 'Reputation'. Some people might have bought the album if it wasn't on 'YouTube' right away. It makes little difference to sales, it’s just another form of streaming. She put it on there so it would go out to those that use YouTube premium to stream their music primarily, plus it allows fans without premium subscriptions to streaming software to listen to the album in order or play their favourite songs without having to listen to the whole album on shuffle. |

That way people can listen to the album for free and decide if they like it enough to buy it. It's a big contrast to what Taylor did in the past. She always shielded her music and made tons of money with exclusive deals. |

I like 1989 more. 1989 doesn’t have any weak songs. It’s magical. The 1989 songs have proven themselves to stay great over the years. I have my doubts with most Lover songs. I’m already noticing getting a bit tired of more and more songs. |

I had this thought immediately after my first listen. It's definitely my favorite pop album of hers. I like 1989 more. 1989 doesn’t have any weak songs. It’s magical. The 1989 songs have proven themselves to stay great over the years. I have my doubts with most Lover songs. I’m already noticing getting a bit tired of more and more songs. I do love 1989 but I'm loving Lover more and more everyday haha |
