My elementary/middle school mascot was a Mustang.
My high school mascot was a Spartan.
My university's mascot is a Bobcat.

I was home schooled in high school so therefore no mascot there. Don’t remember if I had one in middle school, but this is the Cowboys’ (my favorite team) mascot Rowdy.  |

Elementary school: Wildcats
Middle school: Hawks
High School: Demons (not like Satan lol we were named after an air force battalion)

I went to 2 different elementary schools, the first one was the Mountaineers, the second one was the Jaguars
Middle school was Timberwolves
High school was Falcons
Community College was gators

I went to several different elementary schools: Colts, Polar Bears, Cougars & Flyers
In middle school I was a Teddy.
And high school was a Wildcat. Which means my football/basketball student section got to do all of the High School Musical cheers.
And my future university will either be a Bobcat or a Raider.

This isn't something we do in the UK lol
Our school houses were named after animals but that literally had no effect on anything

Was probably settlers from your area that came and formed this new Amsterdam. Considering a lot of New York state used to be a Dutch colony, I think that's a safe bet aha |
