Hello everyone, it dons on me that this is our very first Christmas here on New TC. I foolishly almost named this thread our first holiday together but that would be incorrect as there are MANY holidays and observances celebrated at this time of year that shouldn't be out shadowed by Christmas. That being said, if you've celebrated any other holiday this past month then I hope you have had an excellent holiday.
Christmas is an interesting time of year for me. This is a holiday that represents joy, hope and peace on earth. It's also a time of reflection I find. I do a lot of thinking at the end of the year and go over the good and the bad that happened in that year. If I'm being totally honest, 2017 was not a good year for me. There was so much devastation in this year. Too many moments that broke my heart. Too many moments that broke hearts across the world. I lost a few too many family members and my family is facing so much drama right now......I don't want to get into that. Despite all of that there were a few bright spots that made this year worthwhile and this website was a big one.
I never thought, in my wildest dreams, that if Taylor Connect shut down that I'd be the person to keep the community together. I thought that even if I did make a new forum, no one was going to follow me here. No one really knew me that well on Taylor Connect. I was fairly shy but, you guys did. You came here and you made this website a success. You made the people on here a community. You held on to your hope and kept the heart of this family beating and I could never thank you enough for that. I know a lot of people thank me, but my part was easy. I've said this before and I'll say this again, YOU are what makes this website what it is, YOU are the ones who keep us together. Not Taylor Swift, Not me but YOU, the community, keep us together and everyday we get to keep on running, everyday you guys show back up here makes me feel so blessed so THANK YOU. I hope that everyone celebrating tomorrow has a spectacular, love filled, holiday. Thank you for believing in this site and in me and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Thank you Sydney for creating this forum and allowing us to stay in touch. You and Mew run this site far better then wonderful union ever ran the old TC. I'm sure Taylor would be proud.

You and Mew are pretty much our parents!  It took a lot of guts to take the lead and create a new forum. I'm glad it worked out and we have a new community. Love you all!  |

You and Mew are pretty much our parents! It took a lot of guts to take the lead and create a new forum. I'm glad it worked out and we have a new community. Love you all! We're your WHAT?? Merry Christmas.
I am very happy and grateful that you and Mew have made this forum. There was definitely a need for it when they closed the old one. Therefore, it is very commendable that you and Mew have spent your time making a new Taylor Connect.
And it's very impressive, so much activity that has been up to now. It's overwhelming to other forums I'm using.
I hope New Taylor Connect will exist for many years.

In all seriousness. I'm glad that this forum took off the way that it did. Not to shadow other forums, but it's the most important. It wasn't made because people felt like they were special or because they didn't like the way TC was ran, it was made because it was critical in connecting us. I'm not much for holidays, but I like the spirits and vibes of the community right now. You guys are making me cheery and I'm never cheery. I've liked getting to know you all a little better this past month and here's to another year of it.

Oh great, now I got a deadbeat father. Hey now. I would do my best to make sure my kids have a good life, just show me the DNA test you're mine or the adoption papers that have both mine and Sydney's signatures on it and I'll be the best father I can be.  If you want me to do your hair and be at your ballet recitals then I'm there. I don't think Jade wants me to be her mother seeing as that I KILLED HER! |
