Was in a store called HomeGoods over the weekend and they had iridescent glasses, plates, and other kinds of dishes that were gorgeous. Wish I had my own place. One day.
As of right now, we're planning on going to Ikea this weekend. I've been wanting to get something better to put my shoes in. They're currently in a big cardboard box from when my closet rod broke... I don't know if I'd rather have something to put under my bed or like a rack thing. But I've also been wanting to get a bookshelf or a cube organizer to put my random odds and ends on. Gotta figure out which one would be best.

Me and my boyfriend have been talking about getting a new couch and I'm so excited to get one. The only thing stopping us right now is we want to be able to go to a store and sit on them before we make a final decision. Once we finally get one though I can finally make my living room cute and will maybe post pictures on here haha. I hate the couch we have now and I'm ready for change.

This one is for you, chantel . Please enjoy. The 2nd picture is really just cuz my cat wanted to see what I was doing and she's cute.    Sorry it's bad pictures, I couldn't step back far enough to take a better picture cuz it's a small living room. Also, my phone camera sucks. I can try to get better pictures at a later date. Oh and the lamp on the right, I have a lamp shade for it but the store I work at is currently out of 8 inch harps so I'm just waiting until I can get one haha. |

I was wondering where to post this, or if I should post this in the Taylor merch section, but is there anyone who has a recommendation for some kind of shelf? I saw the below shelf online on a few websites and I wondered if it would be worth it to spend $170 on it. It is around 60 inches tall and it has a lot of shelves, which I like. I do have smaller bookcase shelves that were fairly cheap that I was going to use to display stuff on, but I saw this CD/DVD shelf that I liked. I would probably put it against the one wall in my room that is taller, and it is probably the only place I have I could put it anyways. I have a weird room because it is nice and long (fairly big) but it is under the roof so the top half of the two longest walls cave inwards, so I lose the top half of the two longest walls and I can't have any tall furniture up against the wall that is taller than where the wall caves in. I can't really put framed things on the top halves of the wall either because it would not stay in place, unless I had something somehow that would keep frames in place on an angled wall. I feel like I have my heart set on this shelf now after looking at it and liking it...I could fit so much stuff like CDs and small items, and I could separate things by era like with Taylor merch. I have tried to look if it was on any other websites for cheaper but I haven't found cheaper than 'Amazon' with it including free shipping.  |
