You know, I don't think I've watched the first three from start to finish. I think I've watched them all, but in chunks and pieces and all out of order hahaha I have all the dvds, so I think on my next day off I shall do that.

Jurassic Park (1993) is my favorite. It’s the original, a classic, and for an old movie the acting is pretty good as well.
Really like the most recent film as well, but not quite as much as that first one.

"old" movie? the wizard of oz is an "old" movie.... the original JP is still young'un (but I agree that it's the best of the originals -- I can't comment on the ones afterward, because I didn't see any of the current batch and don't plan to)

Hell I wasn’t even born yet. That’s a long time man. Doesn’t take away from what a great film it was though.

75 years is a long time. 25 is barely a drop in a bucket

The closest of the movies when I was born was the second movie ( 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park'). It was released in 1997 and i was born in 1998. So I was alive to only see 'Jurassic Park III' released (at 3 years old), and then the new 'Jurassic World' movies of course.

I personally think that the animatronic dinosaurs (used in the first two movies more) were the most realistic looking and I like them better. 'Jurassic World' was great, but I could tell that the dinosaurs were computer animated.
I think I heard or read somewhere that they are using more animatronic dinosaurs in the second 'Jurassic World' movie ('Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom') so that's interesting and I'm excited for it!

Computer generated things look too perfect, so it's pretty easy to tell

This is probably my favorite scene throughout the entire series.
I love it because those two kid actors perfectly illustrated the sheer terror that exists with having to hide from those two raptors.

yeah the kids definitely held their own with the other actors...

Also love this one where the T-Rex is literally staring right at them. I remember being terrified myself when I was a little kid watching this scene.

For me, the scene that really portrayed the fear the kids felt, was the girl repeating over and over, "he left us... he left us". They expected the adult to stay and watch over them, yet he took off to save himself. I don't know if that was supposed to be a commentary on lawyers in general or what, but it worked. it was so real, that girl's reaction. I doubt that a better dinosaur movie could be made, even today.
