To answer my own question, IF THIS WAS A MOVIE (TAYLOR'S VERSION)!!!!!!! Little emo Sydney is SCREAMING! I'm excited for all of them though! I think all of them except for All Of The Girls You Loved Before were released in the Speak Now era (although I typically associate Safe and Sound and Eyes Open with the RED album because they were released not to long before the album was announced but anyways...)

Guess we can consider the Speak Now (TSV) album to be already partially released, yes? 🥳

Guess we can consider the Speak Now (TSV) album to be already partially released, yes? 🥳 I'd say so! I wonder if Taylor clumps Safe and Sound and Eyes Open with the Speak Now era? I mean it was still technically the Speak Now era when she released them originally but she was already starting to transition to the RED era so idk...this is interesting.

This is a great way to celebrate the launch of Taylor's ERA Tour! And it is also an awesome St. Patrick's Day treat for Swifties!

She originally released Safe and Sound and Eyes Open back while she was still doing her Speak Now Tour. And looking at her announcement, The Civil Wars will be credited in Safe and Sound (TSV) as individual members, since they have long disbanded. (And now I wonder how much effort Taylor exerted to bring the duo back together just for this.) Oh, and do you think we'll keep this thread as is, or are we going to merge this with the Speak Now (Taylor's Version) thread once Taylor officially releases the whole album?

Taylor had to have been a miracle worker to get the members of the Civil Wars to re-record. They had a messy break-up! Apparently I'm not going to merge this with Speak Now TV because Taylor re-homed "If This Was A Movie" to Fearless TV....

I kind of always placed those songs with the RED era though. Like technically she was in the Speak Now Era but it was a few months before she announced RED and Taylor back then liked to do a soundtrack song before her next album came out to give us a taste of what the next era would sound like (thus was the case with Sweeter Than Fiction and 1989 as well). ITWAS being moved is baffling since it was so clearly on the Speak Now album. I think she's just doing it so when Speak Now Taylor's Version comes out she can fully say it was self written (ITWAS was Speak Now's only co-write). The only bummer with that is that if she releases Speak Now TV it won't be on there and we probably won't get that song on vinyl or CD. I'm hoping she does put it on like a target exclusive vinyl or do what she did with the Elvira remix of Love Story and just throw it on at the end but, yeah...I guess if she releases more singles like this maybe she can release a "From The Vault" album. That would allow her to release the vault songs that she wanted to re-record but couldn't fit on a TV. Also she can release other songs like Need or maybe a re-recorded version of Sweeter Than Fiction or whichever else. Guess time will tell.

I still have to listen to the new versions of the songs, but I really loved the original version of If This Was A Movie, and somehow Save And Sound was nice too. I listened to All Of The Girls You Loved Before, it's not bad, but I don't know, I guess I just have to listen to it a few more times.
