I tried so hard to get my emails sorted out for my boost but apparently not having it was for the best. I did think that the boosts only applied to getting the presale code and not an actual presale boost though. I think Loverfest are the ones that got screwed most, I thought them having “priority” meant they’d have their own sale first or something. that's exactly what i thought too. when i saw that loverfest was priority, i immediately thought i would have first dibs on a show of my choosing. that was definitely not the case.

The funny part is everyone would have been better off if they never mentioned anything about boosts or loverfest and just ignored all of that information. Then everyone would have felt like they had a fair shot at it instead of building people's hopes up with these boosts and doing the opposite. I believe people when they say that this was done intentionally because people who have those boosts were more likely (desperate enough) to spend more when they finally made it to the end of the line and would only see $200 nosebleeds behind the stage and stupid $700 vip seats on the back of the floor. When I saw that I said I'll try again during the general sale. On previous tours I wasn't working and didn't have any money so my mom paid for tickets. Now this time I finally have my own money and could afford any seat if I felt the value was there. I'm thinking I should have just spent the money on the vip seats on the back of the floor if I knew general sale wasn't happening. This whole thing has ruined Taylor for me tbh and I can't help that but her music makes me sad now. I cancelled my merch order that had my Red snowglobe and 2 of the new pajamas because I don't want to see any of that. I know this isn't 100% her fault. Her team should have been more involved with ticketmaster (unless they were in on this rigging of boosts). I've been a fan since I was 12. I missed seeing Fearless and Speak Now live and thought I'd get to relive it.

I think Taylor and her team are working behind the scenes to do something to fix this and that's the reason they've been so quiet. This has to be upsetting for Taylor too. Ticketmaster dropped the ball hard. They let 14 MILLION people wait in queue. People who didn't even have a verified fan account. Why did they let people join the queue without having a presale code in the first place. I think Taylor's bound by contract not to say anything bad about ticketmaster and she doesn't want to risk not being able to tour. I think her and her team are weighing out their options and there's a few things she might be able to do 1. Announce the international dates so that she can free up some tickets for the US fans 2. Maybe add a few more shows. Even 5 shows would help curb the demand 3. Cancel scalper tickets. This one is probably the trickiest thing and probably also the one she wants to do most. Taylor's not going to want to play to half empty stadiums and with scalpers having all the tickets, that's exactly what she's facing. If she can figure out a way to do this (similar to how Eric Church and Ed Sheeran did) then that would free up thousands of tickets. I would say sit tight. Taylor and her team are being quiet but I think it's cause they're formulating a plan. I wouldn't lose hope just yet

In order to be in the queue you had to be on a verified fan account. After I saw it was taking forever I tried entering on another device that didn't have a verified fan account and it wouldn't let me join

Honestly, I might throw the towel beforehand. International shows are even more complicated. First there’s the nerve wrecking part of where Taylor is playing. European shows are always limited and I really don’t like to travel far, especially not these days. Then there the process of getting tickets: clogged up websites, waiting forever and then having to pick seats for a ton of money in a split second. Otherwise you get booted from the line or your order doesn’t go through. Which potentially can lose you your money, at least temporarily. Then, if you succeeded getting tickets, you need to make arrangements for the show. Before the show there’s the threat of Taylor possibly having to cancel. Or you get sick or injured yourself. At some point it’s not worth it anymore to see live music.

Taylor and her team are being quiet but I think it's cause they're formulating a plan. I wouldn't lose hope just yet I may go out on a limb here and play devil's advocate on those options. Here are my thoughts: 1. I doubt that announcing international dates earlier would significantly free up tickets for US fans. International Swifties may probably be only around 1% (or even a lot less) of the total ticket sales for her US shows, primarily because of the cost of flying to and from the US, as well as visa requirements for most of them. 2. Adding a couple more shows in the US may sound good, but I'm concerned if Taylor can still handle the extra pressure for that. I also fear that she might have to sacrifice some international dates just to be able to squeeze in more US shows. 3. I'm curious about how Eric Church and Ed have pulled off the feat of canceling scalper tickets and how severe the scalper problem was in their respective shows. If it turns out that Taylor's problem is significantly much bigger than Ed's or Eric Church's, then the US Swifites might have to face the prospect of a more scorched earth approach to canceling tickets and going through the ticket purchasing process again (hopefully with better security this time), and (God forbid) a postponement of the tour for another year. And the fear of Taylor playing to half empty stadiums despite having all the tickets sold out is something that had pretty much almost happened when she had her Red Tour here in Manila. And the ticketing website crashing and going down for a long time and tickets ending up mostly in the hands of scalpers? That also happened here before in Red, and I could remember it All Too Well.

At some point it’s not worth it anymore to see live music. This is why I only go to concerts when they're anywhere close to where I live (that means, in a venue in or around Manila). At least when anything happens, I won't worry about canceling my other travel arrangements. Canceling or modifying hotel and flight bookings isn't cheap, to be honest.

Here was my lovely ticket experience. I couldn't get registered so I waited until the 18th to see what was left if anything. They had tickets but they wanted $500 a ticket and that was for the nosebleed section. They did not cancel the general public sale. I am so disappointed and pissed off that I hope she plays to half empty stadiums.

I've been keeping pretty quiet on this (mostly twitter) but, I somehow managed to get tickets during Pre-sale.

I'm a lot less mad now that I have tickets but I still think the way Ticketmaster handled the tickets was annoying. My mom and I always end up seeing Taylor on mother's day lol. We've got floor seats in row 2 from the end of the catwalk

I'm more disappointed than mad now! My anxiety just got kicked up a notch, after seeing how the ticketing situation for Blackpink's and another K-pop group's concerts here in my country next year unfolded just recently. Really hoping and praying that it won't happen again when Taylor comes back here.
