Taylor’s website should sell tickets, they can handle half the world selling out signed CDs in minutes no problem I don’t know why artists literally have to go with Ticketmaster. Like if someone with Taylor’s stature went to all the stadiums and said “I want to sell tickets but I want to do it my way” TELL ME they’d refuse. Exactly, Taylor actually has the power to do something about it and it’s actually disappointing that she’d write a letter to Apple when it’s about money for artists but not Ticketmaster when it’s money for us.

I don't think I'm buying tickets today but I have 1503 people ahead of me in line and my morbid curiosity has the best of me. I want to see how many seats are left by the time I get to the end of this line Finally got through and as I suspected there's nothing left. Oh well. Toronto date is coming up eventually! You know a lot of this drama could have been avoided if she had just announced the international shows at the same time. A lot of people are gonna sell tickets once she does. I'm pretty sure that this is what every non-US Swiftie like us feels after seeing what's happening right now:

ALSO ticketmaster needs a competitor in a bad way. They should not have the monopoly on live events. So Ticketmaster is the only one handling the ticketing for concerts like this in the US?

Apparently so, I’ve never bought concert tickets before and didn’t realize. When I buy tickets for NASCAR the tracks closest to me I buy directly from the track’s website or over the phone, but Bristol only sells tickets through Ticketmaster which is weird and messy

I think I actually got pretty good seats, especially for $49 a ticket. Obviously I won’t be sharing any high fives with Taylor and she’ll be pretty small from up here, but overall I think it’s a pretty good view for the front and side of the stage and the stadium as a whole. Section 329 row 19 seats 23, 24 and 25 on April 28th at Mercedes Benz (not having the 22nd one is gonna bother me but oh well)

Its Philippine subsidiary (which used to be MMI) brought Taylor here for the Red Tour, but ticket sales were handled by SM Tickets, since the show was held at the Mall of Asia Arena (which is also owned by the SM Group). Back in the Red Tour, SM Tickets' website crashed and was down for about 48 hours when ticket sales opened. Fortunately, I opted instead to go to the mall near my place just before it opened, and bought my ticket there. If that AEG Asia retweet of Taylor's announcement is any indication, that would be great. They seem to do a better job at handling concerts. (They handled Celine Dion's very first concert here in Manila, and they handled it nicely from the ticket preselling until the concert itself.)

From what I'm seeing people that had the merch boost and/or loverfest tickets were pushed towards the back of the line. People that had no boosts were better off. I used my account that had loverfest tickets and assumed I would be in front. I should have used multiple email addresses to sign up for this :/

I tried so hard to get my emails sorted out for my boost but apparently not having it was for the best. I did think that the boosts only applied to getting the presale code and not an actual presale boost though. I think Loverfest are the ones that got screwed most, I thought them having “priority” meant they’d have their own sale first or something.

So I know it’s still a few months off but what are you guy’s opinions on spoilers? I’ve never had to worry about avoiding your news and stuff, I tried to watch a lot of the first reputation show on Twitter. But I know a lot of swifties don’t want spoilers and avoid everything and I’m starting to think I might want to do that too. I just don’t know what would be more better, having absolutely no clue what’s coming next or being assured of everything and knowing what to expect, no room for disappointment XD

I just hope that something good will come out of this. Tennessee's Attorney General now promises to investigate this. www.wate.com/news/top-stories/tn-attorney-general-concerned-about-ticketmasters-presale-of-taylor-swift-tickets/

I’ve seen a few American politicians from both sides of the aisle talking about doing something about this, maybe they actually will mange it by next tour
