Can we not pick apart Taylor and every little thing she does, put her under a microscope, and assume we know what’s going on in her head and in her life? Thank you.
Just wanted to say that I realize that was harsh! It wasn’t me intentionally trying to attack either of you. I’m one of *those* fans that loves every Taylor album and I get defensive when I see people saying they dislike reputation, Lover, and/or 1989. We’re all entitled to our own opinions, though, and they should be respected as long as they aren’t hurting or disrespecting others. Someone that hates reputation is just as much of a fan as someone that loves it. But, I do believe we need to be a little more careful with analyzing albums. It’s a brave thing Taylor does by sharing personal details in her music but we still don’t know truly how she feels. It’s important to always remember that she’s just as much of a human as the rest of us.

It’s important to always remember that she’s just as much of a human as the rest of us. I want to come back to this point. I do agree it is certainly brave of Taylor to be so transparent so often. It also makes her feel a bit more like a "friend" than just some star. And sometimes you disagree with your friends. It doesn't mean you don't love them. It means sometimes you have a bit of disagreement and maybe even some temporary fall outs...but you're always rooting for them somewhere in the back row. I think that defines Taylor anything with me. Nevertheless I am a bit guilty of looking at albums from a full picture stand point. I want to be clear here though that...there's albums I am from a "critical" standpoint, aware are not good. Like take Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande. It is cookie cutter sexualized pop earworm with little substance. To be clear - It is also my favorite Ariana Grande album. XD I think sometimes in reviews I can be a little more critical sounding of Taylor merely because I've been a fan for so long I see her growth and regressions. It is not inherently bad. I am just the sort of person who writes 5000 essays about why an album is good or bad. But it does not mean I do not enjoy anything about an album when I point it it has all been done before, it is a lyrical regression, and I think she can do better. *itunes play shake it off* XD

Meanwhile, my brain is like “Beat go boom boom. Me like.” But it is cool reading how people take Taylor’s songs/albums! reputation could mean one thing to you and something else to me. I certainly don’t want to make anyone feel like they’re wrong for not feeling or thinking the same way I do towards reputation, Lover, and 1989. It would be quite boring on here if we all felt the same!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Taylor is already legally free to re-record Reputation, since the 5-year prohibition period already lapsed last Thursday (November 10).

Although no one really knows if that 5 years thing was actually a legally binding thing. Only one source has said it and the entire fandom took it as gospel but, apparently so did Taylor so…YAY we can have reputation now!!!!

It's actually legally binding, since it's part of the contract agreed upon between Taylor and BMR back then. It's similar to a non-compete clause in an employment contract in a way, wherein after you resign from your former employer, you're not allowed to take a job in any of their direct competitors for a certain period of time.

Looks like Taylor is celebrating her birthday by working on Reputation (TSV) with Jack. She's holding up six fingers (6th studio album and that she's already 33), and there's a $1 bill (from LWYMMD) on top of the topmost keyboard behind them (the wooden one). https://www.instagram.com/p/CmID60UuGfR

Well, here's our first taste of Reputation (TSV). The official teaser for Wilderness used LWYMMD (TSV).

Pretty interesting that Taylor Nation used Pink Venom by Blackpink in this post. Does this mean that we'll hear Lisa, Rosé, Jennie and Jisoo in one of Reputation (TSV)'s vault tracks? https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2lKgqVO95N

And when I saw that post, it also reminded me of a scene from the Eras Tour film, when the camera caught someone waving a Blackpink lightstick during WANEGBT. https://www.instagram.com/blinkbangladesh/reel/C05u2WprxRf
