Since this section is for meeting and hanging out with international Swifties, I think it would be a good idea if we let each other know what languages we speak and understand. Who knows, maybe this can help us learn each other's languages and understand each other much better.
I'll start. I speak and understand:
1. Tagalog (my native tongue and an official language in my country);
2. English (also official in my country);
3. some Spanish; and
4. a bit of Japanese.

Hi The 13th Martyr from Cavite.
I am the only one from Denmark in here and of course I speak Danish. I learned English when I went to school, but was bad at it. I'm trying to get better at it, among other things by participating a little bit in here.
Sincerely, Kim B S.

I'm from Germany, so I speak German. Also I understand and can write (and speak a little) english, I teached it myself because I quitted school very early because of massive bullying and the psycholocigal problems I got from it.

1. Dutch. It’s my primary native language. I live and have gone to school in The Netherlands. 2. German. It’s my secondary native language. My dad is German. My German is not as good as my Dutch. But still pretty good. 3. English. I learned it at a young age from television. I also did English in school. And I’ve been trolling the internet since forever. 4. French, Latin and ancient Greek. I can’t really say I speak French, but I did it in school for a few years, so I picked up some of it. In school I also did Latin for 5 years. It’s difficult, but it comes in hand when it comes to language and words in general. I also did ancient Greek for a year. I can read it and write it. And it’s also good to use for difficult words.

I took Spanish for 3 years in school. I can't actually speak it but I think I'm pretty good at reading and writing it. My grandma spoke in Italian pretty frequently so I can speak that but I can't read or write it

Uso Duolingo para aprender el idioma, y también ayuda mucho que muchas palabras tagalas son de español. Estudié japonés básico en la universidad, y puedo leer y escribir hiragana y katakana. Lo siento, mi español no está tan bueno todavía.
