Here we can talk about all of the little things that taylor does in evermore that we love!

I love the language choice on Ivy. I think it's one of my favourites (if not my favourite) on evermore. I saw a theory on the song saying that it was written from Emily Dickinson's perspective which is a theory I'm taking as canon now. Anyways...this has been an Ivy appreciation post.

The little piano thing at the end of Champange Problems. Almost doesn't fit because it's playful but helps you remember that it's a fictional story too.

Also another thing about Ivy, I like how playful and almost filrty way she sings the line "you started it" in the bridge (err second bridge?) after very VERY seriously singing the other lines.

Also (last one for now, don't want to spam) but "Doretheeeeeeee-UH-uh-uh)
also while we're talking about that song, the word know is almost said so many times at the end of the chorus that it doesn't sound like a real word anymore, which I think is cute.

I doubt I'll ever get over Joe playing the piano on evermore. Also really love Justin Vernon's dreamy sounding "evermore" after the chorus and when him and Taylor sing it together at the end of the song.

I love the fact that she says "That's my man" 13 times.

One of my favorite things about the album is the "she was with me dude."
I also love the way she says "Good thing Este's sister's gonna swearrrrr she was with me..." I just love the way she says swear.
I also love the way that she finishes the song with the last died. It's just like how she says the last light me up on the Rep tour in I Did Something Bad.

It's such a cliché that Taylor wrote one of the saddest things on her whole discography and then proceeded to call it "happiness."

These are probably my favourite things about Evermore!!!!!

Am I the only one who noticed the crickets at the end of no body no crime? I always thought it was a nice touch...it actually makes me think you know? because that Cranberries song where they're "the violence causes silence" and all this murder and mayhem is now crickets. silence. this is an overthought Jazzy moment for the day.
