Now that I think of it: I joined TC during spring 2015, so it must be 5 years now  I just really got into Taylor and TC was like a fairytale land compared to other forums. Clueless (aka Kate) was so nice and helpful. I talked to her a lot. I also interacted with a German girl. I’m still in touch with her via Twitter. In general the vibe was really calm and peaceful. But that did change when I got to know everyone a bit more. It was naive to think there wouldn’t be any bad people amongst Swifties. Some were quite a handful. I have to say I don’t hold a grudge against anyone, not even those I had some nasty fights with. I think on NTC things got better, although the group of people is smaller of course. Do you recall me from the old TC Roman? |

How’s your baby and the family doing? Hope you all are still healthy. Yes Jazzy was quite a character. Baby Samantha is doing fine shes growing up so fast. She will be two months old in a few weeks. Some people I miss... Iona (TheStarsThatShined) Ally, don’t remember her username Christy, her username was like Tay13rSwift? Something like that XD Annabeth (EnchantedDreamer) Jazzy, even though we still talk I miss her being on here ThiefInRippedUpJeans, who was on here in the start but I haven’t heard from her in a long time and I’m kind of worried... Clueless I miss Iona too. ): Jade is missed always. Kate has a youtube channel she still does very cool. I also remember KC and I miss her a lot, she was on wattpad for a bit. I was on Taylor Connect way back in the day, probably 2012-2013 ish? I don't think I've met anyone on here that I remember, but that's probably on me for being forgetful It could be 2011, since that was the year when I joined TC. I joined TC in February of that year, initially to ask some Filipino Swifties for tips and recommendations for watching Taylor’s very first concert in Manila. Days after her show, I decided to explore TC more. Back then, male Swifties were rare, and admitting to being one would raise a lot of eyebrows. Fortunately, there was a thread there for male Swifties, and that made my life easier. Thanks to that thread, I was able to know you, Gilbert/GHau, OhioTaylorSwiftFan, JDMaleSwiftie, theedad and a lot more. And yeah, the chat thread there became crazier whenever we were the ones online, talking about stuff normally talked about over a couple of beers, as well as dreaming about marrying Taylor (and the funny game of hot potato that follows it using a certain GIF). Good times. 😄 |

Oh goodness the first people I met on TC. It's been almost 10 years which is crazy. I remember it was kind of lonely at first but someone reached out and invited me to a chat group with a bunch of people from the website and for about 4 years we talked a lot. It's crazy to think back that far because I had just started college and now it's been almost 5 years out of college Omg this is making me realize it's been almost 10 years for me as well.
