Oh man I remember Natalie! I hope she's doing well! I know she met Taylor! Wow that’s awesome! The only other people I know from TC who met Taylor were some of the mods who barely existed and ALoveStory was one of the fans in the Shake It Off video. Lauren on here met her recently.

Something like that XD Annabeth (EnchantedDreamer) Jazzy, even though we still talk I miss her being on here ThiefInRippedUpJeans, who was on here in the start but I haven’t heard from her in a long time and I’m kind of worried... Clueless

I was on Taylor Connect way back in the day, probably 2012-2013 ish? I don't think I've met anyone on here that I remember, but that's probably on me for being forgetful

Yeah, they locked the board completely because the fighting was so bad. It was honestly scary. Were they fighting about who made better graphics or something? No people were accusing other people of stealing graphics and things got nasty.

Now that I think of it: I joined TC during spring 2015, so it must be 5 years now I just really got into Taylor and TC was like a fairytale land compared to other forums. Clueless (aka Kate) was so nice and helpful. I talked to her a lot. I also interacted with a German girl. I’m still in touch with her via Twitter. In general the vibe was really calm and peaceful. But that did change when I got to know everyone a bit more. It was naive to think there wouldn’t be any bad people amongst Swifties. Some were quite a handful. I have to say I don’t hold a grudge against anyone, not even those I had some nasty fights with. I think on NTC things got better, although the group of people is smaller of course.

Tara's definitely the person I've known longest since she invaded the UK thread because we were really active on old TC.
The rest of my friends from old TC aren't here any more! I still speak to a lot of them. Me and Richard are Snapchat best friends, I occasionally speak to John, me and Alex were actually meant to go to Taylor's shows in France and Berlin together this summer, I have Kate on Facebook, and me, Chloe, and Uroosa still chat on Instagram occasionally. If we're getting really old school, me and Dannie still chat daily and she's actually probably one of my best friends despite the fact we've never met. Quite nice that I've had some of these people from the internet in my life for 7 years now.

Man it's crazy to think how things have changed since I first joined TC. I think it was 2011 or 2012. I don't remember what year but it was a few months after it opened. I was still in high school, I was 16 or 17 at the time I think. I didn't really start talking to people until Richard messaged me to join a group chat in early 2014 and then I started talking to Tara, Emma, Rachel, Richard, Uroosa, Chloe, and I don't remember who else. I think the only people I still keep in contact with are Rachel every once in a while and Tara and Emma through here. I remember Rachael (who always got in a fight with Richard) and Natalie and I'd probably remember more people if I saw their usernames.

I remember always asking you guys random questions about the UK like "do you guys have this over there??" "how much tea do you guys actually drink??" 🤣🤣

I joined TC back in 2012...wow. I originally joined just to ask a question about Club Red lmao then never left. Aussie thread was great in its heyday, some of the girls and I have a FB chat called 'Aussie Thread 2.0' which we use frequently 😊 It's so good that I can still chat to Emma, Lauren, Callie etc. and a few others here and there outside of NTC. I'd say from the time I was there until about 2015 was the golden era.

I remember feeling kind of lonely when I first joined TC. There were so many people on the original website and I didn't really have a group of people to chat to like a lot of other members did. The whole reason I started songwriting was mostly just so I could make friends on the website. I eventually gained a bit of traction there but I guess people didn't really get to know me until I started to kind of be the only person in charge of Swifttopia (which basically was a ghost town...err...thread? by the time I got any real control there but, in a strange way it kind of prepared me for running this forum so...yeah). A lot happened in the time I was there though. They shut down fan made graphics twice because people were having an outright war in it. Man, crazy times. I think that was the beginning of the end. Once they finally reopened the graphics section, some users came back, but a lot didn't.

Wow, I really have talked to some of the people on here since around 2011. That's when I first joined TC, at the height of the Speak Now era... what a time to be alive!
