I must not have made the announcement but the April theme has been added to the user theme display on mini profiles with the May theme having been updated. I have finally sat down and gone through all the themes and from here on out, everyone should be able to ??? without the  smiley face taking its place. You can use that smiley by either selecting it in the emoji tab when typing a post or by typing (#confused) without the #. Bless you. |

SydneyPaige has created the June theme for the month and almost everyone can see it so this part of the announcement announcement is pretty moot. But her words about the theme and the current state of the world stand true. NTC is an open and accepting community and anybody is allowed to use the site until they break the rules of the site. We are not going to ostracize or turn anyone away because of the color of their skin, where they were born, what religion they practice, how they view the world politically, or who they love. And anybody caught doing so on the site will no longer be a part of the site. We are all people here. Nobody is better than anybody else because of the same reasons I just listed above. All Lives Matter, but all lives can't matter until Black Lives Matter. We are all one race. And lastly the May 2020 theme has been added to the User Theme Display plugin.

June 2020 theme has been added to the User Theme Display plugin because the July 2020 theme is live!

It's been up for awhile now but as most of you know the August theme is now live as our Default theme of the month, which means the July theme has been added to the User Theme Display plugin. The NTC staff would like to welcome its newest member to our staff roster. @thirteenfifteen22 has been brought on board as our Event Planner! Laurie's sole job will be monitoring and editing our site calendar. newtaylorconnect.freeforums.net/calendar One of the first things discussed was the return of NTC Halloween so look for that to possibly return again this year. As well as us starting to celebrate some lesser known holidays like how last Wednesday was Chicken Wing Day, Thursday was Cheesecake Day, and tomorrow is National Coloring Book Day! We also have a new update we're currently testing out using our staff member's accounts as well as the new NTC Dummy Account some of you may have seen created. Looking to further add to being able to customize your own posts much like mini-profile backgrounds are a thing. Hopefully we'll have an announcement on that in the near future if it's something we're going to bring to everyone! |

New feature alert! After positive reviews from NTC Staff members, we're bringing Post Backgrounds live for everyone! You can upload an image in your settings that will be the background for all your posts and you can even change your default color text so that your type shows better over the image you choose. The background is set to expand behind your mini profile and behind your signature. If you would like a gradient like I have made for myself, you can request one in this thread: newtaylorconnect.freeforums.net/thread/934/colored-username-custom-avatar-request?page=23 Just tell me what colors you would like and roughly where you would like them. |
