So every week on Thursday, I'm in charge of putting out the new magazines and sending back the old ones so I thought that it would be funny to dress like a newsie for halloween! It's also a great excuse to quote one of my favourite musicals (although I won't do that to the point of annoying my co-workers lol).

I have three so I can't really change my icon but this is a really fun idea!
Me and my friend the other night went as tourists, so we had Hawaiian shirts and white socks on and all that. We realised halfway through that she was in a pizza shirt and I was in a pineapple shirt, so we should've been Hawaiian pizza instead and instantly felt regret.
On actual Halloween, I'm going as the sun from the Teletubbies. My friends were already going as the four Teletubbies and I have no costume, so here we are. Unfortunately there's no Noo Noo. Teletubbies is a really big kids show over here in case anyone isn't aware. They're basically cultural icons and it was really the defining show of my childhood so I'm kind of excited by this.
The day after Halloween I'm going as Kim Possible. This is because I already own khaki trousers and a black crop top.

I never dress up for halloween and haven't since elementary/middle school but I was in a Halloween store a few weeks ago and I saw some 'Riverdale' stuff. I saw they have a 'Riverdale' replica bomber jacket. I was thinking about getting it and I'd wear it on Halloween. I would probably look stupid and I wouldn't wear something otherwise or different from what I normally wear. My mom said I could maybe wear it otherwise too. It doesn't say 'Riverdale' on it which is good about it, I just would sort of feel embarrassed if it said 'Riverdale' across it. It just has an 'R' on the front of it. I haven't gotten it yet but I'm still thinking about it. I think they should hopefully have it at the pop-up Hallowwen store where I live and in the right size. It's the same one as in the picture below.  |

All of the teachers at the school I work at are going to dress up as emojis. It'll be an interesting day teaching as the poop emoji lol

They didn't have the same 'Riverdale' jacket at my local Halloween (dump) store.....So I guess I'm nothing tomorrow. They had a jacket but it was $80 and it was crap and was thin and not like the one I originally saw that seemed to be quite well made and it was a bit heavier. And it was only $65. So I'm not buying a cheap one for $15 more. I have a penguin thing I've probably worn at least 3 or 4 Halloweens when I was younger...But I don't know where it is...So I'll likely be nothing tomorrow...It's not like I dress up anyways. I haven't "dressed up" in an actual costume (not including the penguin thing I've worn a few times) since probably grade 4 or something or even younger. I don't remember many of my costumes. I remember seeing a picture of myself as a character from a 'Winx Club' thing but that's it. |

I didn't look for the penguin costume thing because I don't know where it is so I was nothing today...I'm not a Halloween person anyways. I would've felt really stupid if I was someone who dressed up a lot and wore an elaborate costume because hardly anyone at my university dressed up today. I only saw a guy that was a scientist or something and another guy who was something but I can't remember it. And there was some girl who I saw out a big hallway window that was standing outside in a Belle yellow dress and someone was taking a picture of them and there was a bit of light snow coming down and it was kind of weird or stupid.  The only way I "dressed up" today for Halloween was that I had black (but it doesn't really look like that) eyeliner and mascara for my eyes, I usually don't wear eye makeup. |
