Taylor did a few songs live in the live lounge of BBC radio.
Holy Ground
Lover
London Boy
You Need To Calm Down
The Archer
I Can’t Stop Loving You (cover of Phil Collins’ song)

Needless to say that Holy Ground >> all. I also really like the cover she did of Phil Collins’ song I Can’t Stop Loving You. Phil already responded and loved Taylors cover, especially her voice.

I wonder why she randomly did 'Holy Ground'...She could've done 'Cornelia Street' or something instead. The same goes for the cover song.

She seems quite serious in these performances...Are her and her boyfriend on the outs? It's random she performed 'Holy Ground'...And a sad cover song...I didn't see her smile very much. Not as much as she would if she was happy. Usually when it's a happy song she smiles sort of. Or is she tired? Or is she just trying to get through it? Or there's no crowd? Or is she really trying to put herself where she was emotionally when she wrote the sadder songs? But I imagine that would be a little hard if she was really happy at the moment. This is the impression I got after watching the 'Holy Ground' and 'Lover' videos...She was happier in 'London Boy' but it's a fun song to her I guess.

I think it was a mixture of there being no audience and the performance being acoustic and therefore more calm and chilled out. Taylor typically feeds off the audience when she performs so no audience means no extra energy.

And keep in mind that it’s mainly for radio. There’s no need for big expression. You brought up something interesting though. Taylor has a tendency of pretending her current relationship is a match made in heaven; so much better than all her previous relationships. But obviously that’s not a true version of what’s going on. I noticed a few songs on Lover where she already had some troubles in her relationship with Joe. Curious to see how it goes. But we need to be prepared for every scenario.

I think that's part of what I'm tired of with her relationship too. She seems to act like it's so perfect and he's so perfect and they're rich and they're happy and they have everything...
