I probably should have specified that it tended to be the monologues - all the 'default' stash monologues in drama class were either in two categories: 'delirious, over-emotional female', or the huckberry finn male parts usually reflecting on some complex inner journey. Shakespeare, despite the time period, was pretty good at distributing power across genders, e.g. Lady Macbeth

There is a little thing I noticed about the track listing but I'm not going to post it cause it's scandalous and I don't wanna get myself kicked off of my own website so....
The way she says "I mean" in the background of the second chorus in I think he knows.

On Lover the color blue is mentioned several times. Also there are a few references to Joe feeling down.
I guess Joe can be described with the color blue in several ways. His favorite color is blue. His eyes are blue. His mood is blue. Blue is the color of baby boys.

I suspect that Taylor’s speech at the end of Daylight is intentionally recorded with a phone sound. It represents her true voice saying important things in contrast to the rigged message in the K*nye phonecall. Oh wow, I never even thought of this. |
