I mean behind those. Forgive my crude outline and my MaD PaInT SkIlLs™, but this here is like moving behind the star/snowflake looking things. That's what caught my eye. I see what you were talking about in the video (not so much here though). To me it made me think of a blinking eye for some reason? But I don’t think it’s anything Yeah it doesn't show so much here, but my phone screen was bright enough that it was seen there. But like I said, upon looking back to grab the screenshot, it may have just been nothing but my mind playing tricks making it look like there was something there.

It's my favourite of the three so far. However, my thoughts: - The song feels unfinished. I know everyone is hyped up about 18 songs (so am I, lmao), BUT if they're all similar length, that means we're not getting songs any longer than 4 mins (and neither song so far has even been that long). I feel like she can't fit enough lyrical content into the song to attain the 'feeling' she wants with such a short cut.
- I love Taylor's collabs with Antonof but was expecting chorus drums to kick in for that true 80s ballad (I still feel, despite my love of LWYMMD, it too feels 'unfinished', it needed a drop, even though Jack doesn't come across as a boom boom boom kinda guy).
Still have to let the song sink in, but I'm not really excited about it. I agree, it's another short song with not much being said. Musically it's like a long intro. The song is flat, the chorus doesn't really stand out. There's also lack of depth in the music. There's a bit of keyboard and a soft drumbeat. The sound isn't translating much feeling either. It doesn't capture you. That's a shame, because Taylor had something sad and important to tell us. I dunno. It seems like Taylor lost her talent somehow. She's struggling to come up with melodies and lyrics. This is the third song for Lover. I hope we will get great songs. But it doesn't look like it.

OH MY GOSH, I LOVEEE THE ARCHER SOOO MUCH! (I feel like everyone knew I'd say that. XD) But seriously, it's sooo soft and beautiful and tragic, but sooo relatable too (like especially the second verse!) and I just... it has the possibility of becoming my favourite track from Lover. XD

Ugh, it's gorgeous. It's got that dream pop sound that I L O V E so the first time I listened to it, I was in love. But I'm, uh, a little freaked out 'cause I got a necklace last week or the week before last that's a heart with an arrow going through it and when Taylor mentioned she's been using hearts like that as clues I was like IT'S LIKE I COULD SEE INTO THE FUTURE.

I agree that there maybe should've been more drums in the background and it sort of feels not finished in some way. I've seen people post their theories for why there is no pace change in the song but personally I can't justify it. If it's produced as a song, it should have the constructs of a song.

The fandom is starting to annoy me with their theories. People are making up things to give songs meaning, but it doesn’t even remotely match what the songs actually are.

It's because of Taylor's online presence. Every song she releases gets an overwhelmingly positive response from fans because they know she's observing activity on Twitter, Tumblr, etc. Out of all the 'Track 5's, Archer has been voted at the top, just behind All Too Well. Which knocks off Cold As You, White Horse, Dear John, AYHTDWS, and Delicate.
