You could be right. More and more people are standing with the doorknob in their hand to storm out to bars and restaurants. They will take a suitcase with them, so they can fly around the globe straight from the bar. It’s quite ironic that we’ve spent our time filling up the government’s treasury with our hard earned tax dollars since the global financial crisis. Retirement age went up significantly because there really was no other way to survive. Then we have a few restrictions because of covid and the government was like: “hold my beer, gonna print trillions of dollars. And while we’re at it, just strike student loans and buy bonds of corporations that have billions of cash”. There are theories that we will get a form of “universal” basic income. But in return we won’t have any control over our own money. We will be dictated when to spend it and what to spend it on. UBI is inevitable. This is just speeding it up. What do you think governments are going to do with people behind on rent and mortgages? I could see them forgiving that owed money and buying out the owners of all properties further running up debt but idk Yeah. I think they will at least forgive part of the debt piling up because people are not paying their rent or mortgage. Depending on the owner of the real estate they will probably compensate them too. Otherwise we will get a repeat of the financial crisis. It’s so weird. In reality the global economy is dead. But by manipulating all the numbers, it seems like we’re doing better than ever. It’s like a video game where you play your heart out to keep up and suddenly you turn on the cheats infinite lives and resources. For a short moment you feel like a God, but then you realize every effort is pointless. In my opinion that’s the biggest threat. Out of nowhere there’s no purpose in giving it your best shot. Until we realize that without actually doing something productive the world will collapse. |

Considering the infinite money printing (especially) over the last year. Do you guys think we’ve crossed the point of no return and the whole system will change forever? heh, change, I don't know if you meant that as a pun but lol. |

Considering how underpaid you are, your salary is just change Well, in the middle of this global pandemic, I guess I’m lucky to have a job at all. I’m curious to see what will happen in the upcoming year. On paper unemployment is low because people are keep getting paid by the government. But we might get a spike in unemployment once that aid stops. Are you worried about your job for the future considering the trend they want to use technology to replace workers? Personally I think there will be a shift in the kind of work. But people underestimate how much manpower we still need to get everything produced, organized and delivered. |

But maybe the goal I should set for myself is to not work in retail my entire life. |

I have seen this picture of Taylor and a fan floating around for years and I never thought I would one day be listening to both of the people pictured! Today I found out that fan is Priscilla Block! She posted a video on her Instagram account talking about the NMPA meeting tonight, where she'll be performing, and mentioned how a few years ago, Taylor got out of her car to take a picture with Priscilla because she noticed she was wearing a RED t-shirt! Priscilla must be so excited that she gets to perform in front of Taylor this evening!  |
