We have a thread called dreams for dreams you have when you sleep, this one is for the dreams we all dream about  Post about your dreams now or your past dreams, whatever you dream about! For example, when I was little I wanted to be a ballerina. Still not quite over that. No, just kidding, I’m totally over that. |

I always wanted to be in a relationship and eventually get married to the woman of my dreams. A woman who really understands me and loves me for who I am. A woman I’m completely at ease with, someone I would do anything for. It’s pretty clear now that that is never going to happen. Maybe it’s for the better. But in the back of my mind I still haven’t entirely let it go.

I always wanted/still want to be a racing driver (cars, not motorbikes), but never got the chance to do it. Now my only dream is to see Taylor live, but that won't happen this year  |

I always wanted/still want to be a racing driver (cars, not motorbikes), but never got the chance to do it. Now my only dream is to see Taylor live, but that won't happen this year Seeing Taylor live was also a big dream for me, and when I finally saw her In London, it was my best music experience ever.  That's why I dream of happening again, and I hope you also get the chance to come to a concert with Taylor.  It's simply an amazing experience. |

When I was at The Great Smoky Mountains national park several years ago I saw some hikers passing by who were on the Appalachian Trail. I immediately thought to myself how wonderful that must be to take a long journey by foot and see nature the way it was without highways, buildings, neon signs,etc. So my dream would be to hike the entire Appalachian Trail. It starts in northern Georgia and ends in Maine. It is 2,190 miles long and goes through 14 states. It seems like a formidable task but a lot of people have done it.

My dream is just that dream that only like a billion other people dream of...  I would like to be a country/country pop singer/songwriter about every other month, I have a really hard time with making up my mind, right now is an on month, but I always want to be a songwriter. I’ll sell my songs for other people to sing if I must, anything to get them off of my notebook page and out into the world. I can’t bare the thought of writing all these songs and them never even attempting to go anywhere. I don’t exactly fancy it in comparison to songwriting, but I’d like to be author if that falls through. Somehow someway, I want to write. I think that if I could succeed in getting a book published that could open some doors for songwriting opportunities maybe, so I’m just trying to find an open door. Likewise with acting, I feel if I was involved in songwriting or something it could possibly help my acting career. I have a ton of interest in acting, but I would never pursue it on its own, it’s something I really, really like, but I don’t feel passionately about it like I do with writing. I like all these things because I’m extremely self centered and need to be seen! I actually don’t care for the fame of it all, but the entertainment industry is the only thing I really enjoy. Of course I had to fall in love with the things that won’t likely happen XD But only the dreamer’s dreams come true so I don’t plan on giving up anytime soon. The only thing really holding me back is my parents, they don’t approve and I’ve always been a little shy about this stuff with them so they don’t know much about my ideas... |

When I was young I always wanted to be a lawyer. I would go around telling my siblings and my parents "I'll sue you" and "I'll see you in court". Well that dream never came true. I also have the dream of meeting Taylor. I would also love to meed Hunter Hayes and Oprah Winfrey. I write poetry and short stories and I would love to be published.

I've been waiting for this thread!  Let's see... I've always, always wanted to become an artist. I've always been vague on what I've meant by 'artist' though... Out loud, that's always been my answer, just to be an artist, but in my head, I've gone from wanting to be a painter to a designer to a recording artist to just... I just really want to work with art. XD Right now I really want to be some sort of musical artist, but I've never been really sure. Oh yeah! When I was eleven, I went through a phase for just about the entire year where I was almost dead set on wanting to become an astronaut. XD That ship has since sailed... XD But I still would give up a lottt to visit space... XD I've also wanted to become a teacher countless times, but never really strongly. Basically, I've always dreamed of being an artist, but other careers have dipped in and out of my mind. |
