I'm really old school and still buy CDs and have a music library instead of streaming...

Although i'm not fond of cassettes at all because of how easily ruined they are, I've found it necessary to hold on to the ones i have because in some cases, the later cd releases of the albums actually use different versions of some songs, or they're never even released on cd... and it's almost impossible to find the original versions now. I'll always have a fondness for the old LPs, not because of any quality bias, but because the album cover artwork was easier to see at that size, and the text was a lot easier to read on them. You need magnifying glasses to read some of the text on the cd sleeves and cassette things. There are a lot of other reasons i prefer the physical versions of the music as well, but i won't bore you with them all.

I'm so lucky I have the opportunity for it all. I hear a lot of music on YouTube. When I find something I think is extra good, I buy the music on CD. I have many single plate, maxisingle and albums from my period as DJ in the eighties, and from earlier I also have a lot of casette bands. And fortunately, I have all the components needed to play all formats. However, I do not use MP3.
