Got a lot picked up and put away in my room today! Also, with the help of my sister, got a lot of packing done!

Successfully did my first U-turn today! With or without handbrake? Why would you need the handbrake for a U-turn?

With or without handbrake? Why would you need the handbrake for a U-turn? Because in racing (like rallye), you can instantly rotate the car 180 degrees using the handbrake. To be clear: I do not recommend trying that. It will end badly if you don’t know how to do it. And your car will not like it.

Successfully drove myself to my hair appointment today! I believe that's the second time I've driven by myself since getting my license back in August. I just don't like to drive. I wish I could move to a big city somewhere with a good public transportation system. But, even if I did, I know I can't avoid driving forever.

If you drive more often you'll get the hang of it and at some point it gets fun to drive. Getting your license doesn't mean you can actually drive. You'll learn that if you drive more often. My tip: go to a place with hardly any traffic and practice on your own. You'll get a feel for the car and there's no pressure.

I'm like my dad when it comes to art/craft projects. He's always starting a woodworking project or talking about building something and then taking forever to finish it or work on it. A while ago, I got this embroidery kit and would work on it every time I was gone camping. I had kind of forgotten about it but something made me think about it today and I got a little bit more done! Gotta go refresh my memory on how to do an outline stitch...

I I got my shoes on by myself. This is an accomplishment for me because I am 8 months pregnant and I can barely see my feet over my big belly

Although annoyed that I was made to drive, I know I needed the practice driving in rain. It was pretty bad, too. Didn’t hydroplane and crash, yay. Drove over a power line and didn’t get zapped, yay. My sisters told me that our dad has said the truck is horrible to drive in the rain...it’s honestly amazing to me that I didn’t crash. I hardly ever drive that truck.

Swept my bedroom floor, dusted around my room good, and did a couple loads of laundry. Productivity levels really increase when you're home alone.

It's been almost a week, if not a week, since I last worked on my journal but today, I made a lot of progress by finishing this drawing I've been working on. c: On to the next drawing!
