I moved by bed against the wall a different way that I've been wanting to do, I put down my new rug, and I put up a string of lights on the wall around my bed.

Ummmm I cooked my first actual meal today??? It was a teriyaki chicken noodle bowl. I had a little breakdown because I wasn't sure if my chicken was cooked all the way or not because the sauce on it started to burn in the pan so I turned it off but it was. Also successfully cut up the chicken without cutting off a finger!

My room was getting a little messy again so I cleaned it up, swept the floor, and washed my sheets and quilt! I meant to finally hang up all those posters I have laying around but that will have to be my task for tomorrow.

Yesterday, I was able to finally practice parallel parking for the first time in a year or more? and I got it in the space all 3 times I tried. c: Gotta keep practicing, though, because even though they weren’t helping me that much, my family won’t be there to help me look out for the cones. The DMV should really purchase two cars from a junkyard to put out there because they would be easier to see than those short cones!

So, after my last attempt at cooking, which I thought was kind of a disaster even though my mom and sister said it tasted good, I didn't want to try again but I was tired of eating like a broke college student so I made some egg drop soup today that turned out really good! I was afraid pouring in the eggs to make the ribbons would end badly but it didn't! EVEN MY DAD TRIED SOME AND SAID IT WAS GOOD. That's the highest compliment I can get in my family.  |
