I really just wanted to start a discussion on this show and their aim with the show: getting a conversation started about very very hard topics. Your opinions, how it's affect you, and your experience with mental illness... I want to hear it all!

*Spolier Alert* IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED ALL OF SEASON 2 AND DON'T WANT IT TO BE SPOILED DON'T READ AHEAD. I felt like the last episode was one of the saddest things I've ever had to watch. Bryce, only getting 3 months probation and Justin having 6 months. Justin relapsing on heroine, even after he got adopted by Clay's parents. Tyler, being sexually assaulted in the bathroom. That scene made me cry. & then Tyler going to cause a school shooting... the ending was kind of confusing though.

It made me SO MAD Bryce got off so easily and then I was even more mad because THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS. I spent the entire season wanting hard proof on Bryce for Hannah's case, but I just knew since they wanted the show to be realistic, he'd get off like that. And that just honestly makes me so sad. Justin really stole the show for me this season. His addiction (though not to heroine) is something I'm personally witnessing to someone close to me. It's such a rollercoster and I cried, just like he was a real person, when I saw he relapsed at the end. And yeah, I cried at Tyler's sexual assault too. Actually, I just cried a lot during the whole season, but the assault really just hits you in a different way. It was gutwrenching. It made me sick. The brute force of it and suddenness of it. God it was awful. I didn't really like the ending, but I can't wait to see where they go from there. There has to be a season 3, even without Hannah. Hannah's story is clearly finished and I want the unfinished one's told, like clearly Justin and Tyler, but also Tony's. And it'd be nice if Bryce actually gets what he's deserved before the show ends, for them to show what SHOULD happen when someone is raped or assaulted, rather than what DOES happen.

The start of the last episode in season 2 made me BAWL my eyes out. Hearing all the witnesses and their attackers was just a lot
