I have a list of books I want to read. I also have a stack of books that I purchased to read. Me too, I just went through my bookshelf and put together all the books I haven’t read. One day when I get some time

I just finished reading a book titled 'The Founders at Home' by Myron Magnet and enjoyed it very much. I am now ready to start reading the next book that I have selected, "Independence': The Tangled Roots Of The American Revolution. The author is Thomas P. Slaughter.

I am looking forward to May 12. Our local public library will hold it's semi-annual used book sale. The library owns a small house that is right next door and they fill the rooms with used books. On May 14 they hold the sale again and then on May 15 they have the brown paper bag sale. For two dollars they give the customer a paper grocery store bag and you are allowed to fill it up with as many books as the bag will hold. Of course by this time a lot of the best books are sold, so if I find something I like a lot I purchase it on May 12.

just thought i'd leave this here ... it's something i found on twitter from someone who works in the bookselling industry... for all those who were sure e-books were going to take over the world...
"Amazon has opened brick and mortar bookstores. Kindle sales flatlined because it turns out most people prefer physical books. And the number of indie bookstores in the US increased 40%."

I have been wondering if anyone has ever tried an 'audio book'? If you have, did you like it?

One of the best book series I’ve ever read is Heartland by Lauren Brooke. I started watching the TV show and the books are even better

I loved The Hunger Games series so I was looking into the Divergent series and The Maze Runner?
I read about them and I don’t understand at all, so I read the reviews and they aren’t too great but I know they had a lot of hype... has anyone read them, any good? I’m

The thing about books with 12 year old main characters is you never know what you’re going to get XD You could get a story written for kids or a story written for anyone. I like kid books to some degree but it’s not exactly the kind of reading material I look for XD I read all of the Baby-Sitters Club books (around 200 XD) and I loved them then and I appreciate the story now but they don’t really hold my attention anymore XD

I just finished A Corner Of The Universe by Ann M. Martin. I read it once long ago but I don’t think I really understood it back then. I don’t guess I started crying till about chapter 13 XD
