Yeah taxes suck. I'm hoping they don't mail me anything saying I owe more because I'm not going to be able to pay it. I think I'm in the clear though since it's been awhile It’s probably good to always have an emergency fund for things like this. Personally I don’t mind taxes that much. Somehow society needs to be funded to provide services. But I also understand the sentiment of taxes becoming a bit too much. My salary gets taxed, everything I buy with that money gets taxed again. And if I save money, I get taxed again. Under normal circumstances I would set emergency money aside but you know crypto tax can be confusing with how they tax each individual trade and how each exchange keeps account of it because they don't know my initial cost basis. It may appear that I owe way more than what I actually took out that I would have no way of paying for. I wouldn't have a problem with tax if I actually saw it being used to help the people of the country. Instead public schools are crappy, streets look and feel terrible, people don't feel safe at homeless shelters, etc. |

And normally they do a better job using it for the people. Although that’s changing recently. They now want to spend billions on minor environmental problems that don’t even get fixed with that money. |

I’ve been sick for the past week and I’m so tired of it. I guess I’m lucky because I haven’t had a cold or flu like this in probably a few years (before the virus started), which is I guess because people stayed away from each other and wore masks. And I try to wash my hands every time I come home and get wash them more often. I haven’t taken a home COVID test I guess because I don’t feel like it and I haven’t had a fever at all. I think it’s a bad cold. My throat started hurting a week ago today and it got worse over the week. It was probably the worst on Canada Day. What a great holiday it was to be sick. Not. That night I felt like I was gagging when I was trying to cough. I guess I’m blessed (NOT) with extreme mucus and phlegm when I have a bad cold. There’s sort of a taste or almost smell to it that is gross and disgusting, and it felt like it was stuck in behind my nose. I’d try to blow it out but it wouldn’t all come out, and I’d try to cough to loosen it, and then I’d sometimes gag from the mucus/phlegm and almost bring up spit or mucus out of my mouth a few times. I can’t have a cold for maybe three or four days. No. It has to be a whole freaking week or longer.  I felt like venting that. And I HOPE this dumb cold is almost over. |

I hate that, and I feel like doing nothing else. I’d honestly take a bad cold like I had over nausea because it’s so bad. |

I think I’m finally about over my dumb cold. But now I’ve got a fairly bad ear infection. Just great. It’s just what I wanted after a bad cold.

The only issue with online friends is you have to pay to visit them and when the people closest in distance to you see flakes it’s hard to not feel alone and isolated from everyone….
