It weirds me out when I'm buying clothes online and all the models in the pictures are just staring at me like stone-faced, lifeless weirdos.

So like, I get that deliveries in general right now are probably insane from both the pandemic and Christmas shopping. But this is getting frustrating. Not only have I not received any of my Taylor merch yet, but now I'm not receiving an amazon order either?? My dad and my boyfriend are both into 3D printing, so as Christmas presents I got them both filaments they wanted. I ordered them on the same day. I received my boyfriend's one 2 days later, and my dad's was supposed to be arriving the next day. I thought all would go well but noooo. The next day I receive an email saying the delivery was attempted. I WAS HOME ALL DAY, THEY NEVER KNOCKED! IT WASN'T ATTEMPTED! Anyway, there's a link to contact the delivery so I was trying to do that today. I completely fill out the form and when I go to hit submit IT JUST DOESN'T WORK. Like their website is broken, I tried it on different browsers. Why give me the option to fill out the form if I can't even submit it?? This is USPS by the way. The United States Postal Service "attempted to deliver" my amazon package and their website isn't working properly. I'm so frustrated. I know I probably wouldn't be as mad if I had at least received my Taylor merch ugh. Also, filament is kind of expensive so like, it better get here.

Signed up to be a casual member of a society and was given a committee position I did not ask for. They had a go at me today for not attending any events when I made it clear to them that I likely would not be able to as I'm at masters level and am really busy with uni work. Really quite annoyed now, they're saying I have to attend future events when I told them I couldn't commit to all of them. Well that's... very unnecessary of them. Ultimately I think people seem to forget it's an EXTRAcurricular and I'm not going to let my degree slip for a society I'm literally only a part of to have something else to go on my CV

It's been 8 months since I placed 2 orders on 5SOS's store. It's hard trying to remain patient. I'm sorry you haven't gotten your orders, yet. Hopefully they'll start to ship soon. It's been a while since we've gotten a notice that USPS tried to deliver something but there wasn't anything about going to the post office to pick up your package?

Online shopping is getting bad in terms of the expected delivery dates. These companies that deliver need to hire more people or they're going to have a lot of annoyed and unhappy customers. 'Amazon' here in Canada used to be so quick, even near the start of this pandemic. I ordered things that were all in stock in their warehouse it would usually be shipped the next day or soon after and be here in a few days. Now, it's a wait for at least a week and half. They obviously need more workers then if this is their pace now. Who knows if things will even arrive before Christmas. There are a few things I want to order for my mom and dad and the delivery times are getting closer to Christmas but I can't order it yet as I've been struggling a little with finances and trying to order things when I finally have money from paycheques every two weeks. I don't expect at all that anything I've ordered from the Taylor online store recently and sent to me here in Canada to be here before Christmas. They haven't even shipped yet. The stupid shipping companies they use to ship internationally are also ridiculous and move slower than snails. So I bet middle of January is when I would get stuff. The stuff my mom ordered for me for Christmas also will likely not show up before Christmas.

They likely can't hire more people because of social distancing, and it's likely that their workers are getting sick. I know that's been a huge issue in the UK and has led to very slow deliveries.

It’s like people can’t win either way. They want people to stay home more so they shop online, yet the delivery has become ridiculously slow. We can’t even look at, touch, or basically think about a ”non-essential” item in a store in my province.

Seriously: shopping online is not the alternative. You’ll just as much put people’s life in danger. Limit your shopping to a minimum. There’s plenty of other things to do.

Obviously shopping online is more understandable this time of year considering it's Christmas, but for the rest of the year I would recommend it. As I always say, Jeff Bezos doesn't need more of your time or money. I've actually found that since I've bought minimal clothes this year, something I would normally spend a lot of money on, I've been quite a bit happier.

I really feel sorry for people working in warehouses and those who are doing deliveries. They work so hard and they’re heavily underpaid. The dude from the postal service already worked late before corona. Can’t even imagine how much he’s working at the moment. And let’s face it. Even if you want to buy something. It can wait until next year. I really saved a lot of money this year. And I haven’t missed out on anything.

It's all worked out with my orders, I have received almost everything (still waiting on that damn vinyl and one other christmas present). I totally understand why deliveries are taking longer right now, I was just venting before as this is the vent thread haha.

Yeah I definitely found it strange that I got my things before you did when you live in the states and I don’t. Hopefully the rest shows up soon!
