I love Johnny but that version of the film was too bizarre for me Gene wilder made the Willy Wonka character more down to earth. where Jonny Depp kinda made the character not so down to earth. Tim Burton tends to make his characters dark and broody. It's his sorta "gothic" element in the movies he does. The newer Wonka was intended to be darker than the original, which was more centered on down to earth childhood fantasy really. Both are good and have their elements. :3 |
