Oh btw (in case anyone else wants to resize images or make images for the mini profile backgrounds), the best dimensions if you want the image to fit is 175 x 330

Length of the mini profile can change with status/username/etc. Width is pretty much the same from theme to theme. |

Like if you're using a gif you don't want it to zoom in on someone's eyeball or something. if you're looking for a basic background then I agree that bigger is better. |
