I hate groups. I'm a quiet person and I hate talking to people. I'd like to get things done myself instead of having to make times to work with people. It takes two times longer probably working on something in a group. It sucks but I think there's a project I have to do in a course called 'Geographic Research Methods' this term. It's sort of the first time I've had to do a project in a group in university. I mean if I’m forced to work in a group I will but I feel like I don’t learn as well. And the teacher chooses the groups so it sucks in a regard if I get stuck with someone who really doesn’t care and won’t put the effort :/ Teachers should always let you choose to do something by yourself. The project I have to do in a group is double hell as it's a group project and we have to do a stupid 15 minute presentation. :///

Why so many group things? I work better alone and I hate most of these people please let me work alone I hate groups. I'm a quiet person and I hate talking to people. I read the course outline or syllabus for the first time and read that we had to do an annoying presentation and then I read it was 15 minutes and I was like what the f**k?? The only good thing about it being a group project is that at least I don't have to talk the whole time during 15 freaking minutes. It's like a double negative almost - I hate group projects and I hate presentations but together it's not so bad as I hate presentations more so at least I won't be the only one who has to talk during it and being in a group for a presentation at least takes the load off a little bit and I don't have to worry about everything being on me. I guess group projects are a little easier too especially for presentations as you share the work.

It's not about group work in class, it's giving you skills needed for the workforce once you graduate.

I have a question about group work in y'alls countries... Do you actually get marked based on the group?? Or individually?? So far the only "group work" experience I've had to do is posting something in a forum, and it was marked on the basis of participation

Or at least once I think the teacher gave an individual mark to every one.

I'm actually the one furiously getting notes down, but typing instead as I type on my laptop.
