Has anyone else had any issues logging in or just me? Update: It's just me. My computer likes to randomly just display the wrong time so the website's security certificate was acting a bit funky. Nothing to worry about, just my old computer causing me problems (seriously though, I think I need to get a new computer. I was thinking of getting a desktop instead of a laptop this time around but I'm still on the fence...also I don't have the money to buy a new computer rn so...

Because that could be the BIOS battery dying.

I had this problem a few months ago. My uncles PC (also old) was doing it too. It was the battery on the motherboard. The problem is, BIOS needs power to keep the settings and correct time and date. These batteries are the same as the ones in your mobile phone (Lithium battery). They don't last long. Looks like it needs to be replaced. Its a 1 dollar battery. When you replace it, go to bios, set up everything that is wrong and boot the system, then synchronize time while you online. Easy fix. Also if you have a laptop, your main battery needs to be replaced too after some time, because they can act like its nothing happening and then randomly die for a moment, that can cause problems too. You know, nothings last forever.

I have a big line of screen dry on the left of the screen and the battery life on it isnโt great. I have my iPad that I can do everything so if my computer dies I wonโt be stuck but I still might start saving up for a computer soon.

For what Apple will charge me for all the repairs I may as well just get a new computer.
