I think I now fully understand the song Enchanted... it's evolved over the years for me, but something recently happened to me that made me maybe finally understand it if that makes any sense...
I also understand "I've never heard silence quite this loud..."
I’ve had loads to think about and it stinks

Also I started writing again. I’m using a typewriter…. Am I in my tortured poets era now?

Why are lyrics on Spotify suddenly premium only? Because Spotify needs money. Seriously, Spotify is under pressure. Their growth is pretty good of course, but investors expect them to ramp up profitability. Expect them to push people into subscriptions and additional costs.

Soon before we know it, parts of songs will be sub only or half a song before the ads start…

And Spotify is already defrauding small artists. I read a few weeks ago that they just keep the money for themselves when artists are getting less than 10.000 streams per month. It seems like they're earning between 5 and 15 million dollar that way, every month. (I don't know the exact numbers für the earnings anymore)

Sometimes I wonder why some parents only play clean version of songs because I find that sometimes what the singer is singing about is actually more inappropriate than the curse word in the song…but then I remembered that I grew up listening to a healthy dose of rage against the machine and other saucy mouthed rock stars, so maybe I was desensitized to it as a child. However, I myself didn’t really start cussing till I was about 20 years old, however I think that was more a byproduct of growing up talking funny and always being hyper cognizant of every word ever leaving my mouth and also being afraid of getting in trouble for swearing until I realized I was an adult and my parents would be hypocrites if they really got upset with me for swearing (also I really only curse as a result of stress). Anyways…

Anyways… I never really understand the idea of the clean versions anyways. But that's probably a European thing, because we usually don't have clean versions.

I’m totally stumped for the June theme. I guess I have a good 3 days to think about it though
